I'm giving it 4 stars because the canned beers are usually amazing. Food is fresh but not many options if you're going as a restaurant experience. Friendly staff, lots of parking near by, cool little saki bar and some video games inside. Open concept nice and roomy.
Best kosher pizza in LA county and they recommend a summer beer that was spectacular. Bought a bread to bring home it looked so good! Haven't tasted it yet.
Great kosher pizza and pastries. Also the craft beers
Fun place. Small but solid menu. Great bread and pastries are a bonus for this baked goodies lover. Craft coffee too. Great cross section of beer styles, not another joint with nothing but IPA's.. and I love IPA's. Red, brown ale, rice lager, american lager, saison, sours, pastry stouts to name a few. My margherita pizza wasn't really a margherita (where's the mozza?), but is was good nonetheless. Great crust. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of off street parking out back although you do need to hike around to the front door. Great airy vibe in side. Games for kids. Seems to be OK with pets too.
Atmosphere: street parking (never too hard to find when I've gone). Big beer hall. Order at the front and take a seat where available. All the times I've gone it hasn't been too crowdedFood and drinks: The Margherita is where it is at. The tomato sauce is perfectly tart and blends well with the roasted cloves of garlic and basil on the pizza. The cheese is chewy and perfectly balanced the sauce and toppings, and the sourdough crust that is twisted to create the star effect is an added bonus. It's a delightful pizza that I always look forward to when I'm there. The beers on draft are plentiful and there's a lot to choose from for even the picky drinkers. I really enjoy their IPAs.Service: friendly and accommodating. You do order at the front and pick up the food when it's ready so people checking on tables is minimal.Overall, great vibes, great pizza, and great beer.
Friendly staff. Outdoor and indoor seating. The attic is so cool but a bit warm during the day. Had a couple of good beers! They have Star Wars theme drinks which is pretty cool.
Stopped at Long Beach Bear Lab today and had a great time. The beer is delicious and so was the food. I got the Margherita pizza and it was delicious. Warning-my friend got the bread plate thinking it would be like a charcuterie, with bunch of different types of their housemade bread, but it was just a loaf of bread. Would have been better sliced or as anticipated a mix of pieces of various bread. Plenty od seating, some games too.
Excellent beer selection, great quality. Staff knows their stuff so feel free to ask questions about freshness and styles. Owners are terrific people. The husband runs this pretty experimental brewery while his wife runs the bakery. Sourdough is truly great and lots of other baked goods to choose from. They open at 8am Friday through Sunday. Grab a board game and a couple pints! They also can their own cocktails like gin and tonics and have an alcoholic slushee machine.
One of my favorite breweries. The pizza is bomb! I get IPAs or stouts usually anything above 7.0%ABV. I also looooove their slushees ??
Had an amazing experience. The brewery/bakery had so much to offer, amazing beers and food, and cans to go. I also ran into Greg who is a brewer there and has a sake pop up, amazing sake and he knows his stuff, I received a complete education about all things sake, fun and exciting. You will not be disappointed
