The Romeo & Juliet crêpe was delicious. It had strawberries, bananas, Nutella, chocolate syrup, powdered sugar and we order it with vanilla ice cream. Kids enjoyed the Belgian waffles with sides of bacon and scrambled eggs (brunch). The hot chocolate drink was very good! Hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict had a bit more citrus flavor than I like. But I'd definitely come back to try other dish on the menu. Maybe for lunch or dinner.
Came in today because of the great reviews and when we were seated we watched three waiters talk about who was going to help our table out for 20 minutes. Mind you there was only 3 tables taken up when we arrived. I’m not the type to usually leave reviews but the worst customer service I have experienced by far. We took our food to go and will never return to this establishment. Crepes were okay nothing special at all.
Still one of my favorites. I take people here time and time again and they all love it.I love the savory crepes. I get the French Rivera and Martinique. Constant always.
This establishment has really bottomed out. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and all aspects have f the restaurant started declining about 5 years ago.The same rude waitress STILL works here. They do not provide complimentary bread and won’t even provide a complimentary happy birthday ice cream. The quality of the food is not the same and as you can tell from the tone of my intro, the service is horrendous. Will not be back here again!
This place is right at the heart of the 2nd street Long Beach area. Very alive and younger crowd. The restaurant decor is really interesting. The server is super friendly. They have a bar as well as plenty of tables. It's kid friendly. The food is quite tasty and we enjoyed the Napoleon desert. Parking is limited with metered parkings on the street. It's free after 7pm. The restaurant is disabled/handicap friendly.
Quickly seated, personal and friendly services. Cozy dining. My family had a great delicious time here and will come again.
We like to go to this place, always good food and the staff very attentive, this time our server Michael was very friendly and answer every question from the menu, the portions were huge so we ended taking it home, the cordon blue rogoulade chicken was great, the french onion soup was delicious, my husband order a panini with salad and I order chicken marsala with pasta. I recommend this place!
This place has the most amazing food..Excellent service
The worst egg’s Benedict I’ve ever had. I got an order to go and the hollandaise sauce was broken and drowned in lemon juice, so bad it was inedible. I ended up tossing 3/4 of it and actually had heart burn from the acidity of what little I did eat. Not sure if they were trying to doctor up a broken sauce instead of starting again but it was very bad.Service was good and the eggs were poached perfectly.
It’s a very low key restaurant but a hidden gem. We live on Saint Joseph for 1.5 yrs and every time we just passed by and didn’t pay attention to this restaurant. And one day my partner was craving crepes, we googled, we were surprised there’s one right around the corner. We had several brunches here and their garlic fries are always what we ordered first. And we tried multiple others and they were all great! But the greatest surprise of all? The Crepe Suzzette!
