Love this place. Hard to find staples to southern cooking. Very friendly and fast service. Alex and Matt were great on both of my visits! Five stars!
Ate here on Friday night, July 3rd 2022. Matthew, was our server. He was fantastic! My wife had macaroni and cheese barbecue bowl with beef. I had the chicken fried steak. The dinners were fantastic. You will not go hungry here!

Yummy food!! Chicken fried steak was melt in my mouth. Loved the grilled fried Mac and cheese. Jalapeno hush puppies were pretty good. Fried pickles were good. Great deal right now on Yelp. Buy chicken dinner and check in and get one free.
Jen the server was AMAZING! My mom and I were going regularly to the one in the city of Orange for years and Jen was our server there too! We miss that location since we are from the OC area but traveled all the way to LB just to eat your famous fried catfish and eggs! Jen was super hospitable and thanked us for coming this way! We will be back soon! Five stars ⭐️ on service!
Yummy yummy yummy! Comfort food at its finest. The staff greets the customers with a warm smile! And the food is delightful every bite brings so much joy ?. We started our mail with the Mimosa flight but truly lifted off around the second cup. And finished our mail with the delicious peach cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream that was too perfect.
Excellent service and I mean Excellent. Our waiter and bus person bent over backwards to make our 1st visit a great one. The food was also sooo good and we will be back often ! What a hidden jewel of a restaurant.
My boyfriend and I were trying to take out our family for a nice dinner here when we arrived we were seated right away. The waiter seated us towards the back of the restaurant. We waited for 20 min and no one came and asked us for our food or drinks. This place was not even crowded or anything so I dont understand why we were just forgotten about... After wasting our time waiting we left. This was a huge disappointment because we were really looking forward to eating here. Never going back.....
Garbage.... the catfish salad was over salted and so was the fried okra. The chicken fried steak was good but the biscuit was cold. We drove along way just to go eat there and it was very disappointing... the service was good though... I would not return or recommend this place to anybody...
