The Brisket Mac &Cheese was really tasty. The pasta was cooked to perfection , the sauce was delicious and the meat was chopped/shredded nicely and perfectly proportioned on top. It hit the spot!
Overly salted brisket and sausage taco. Employees are not very friendly and you give you weird looks. When the manager is around, the food was good and service was okay.
Holy Smokes might suffer by its association with Holy Mole. Holy Smokes is far better in terms of doing BbQ then Mole is at doing Mexican food. I actually went by Smokes several times and was frustrated by service and food unavailability so didn't eat both times. However I can barely keep workers in my own company so I know its industry is rough vis Covid. We all need patience. Finally made it today after a couple hard days work. Bbq was fall off the bone good! It really shows how seriously they take bbq. Well done.
A taco place trying to be a bbq place :/Horrible idea........A confusing menu, way over priced food for the quality or lack of....DISAPPOINTEDThe chicken was truly dried out and tuff to eat, the potato salad from a tub lacked in taste , the bread was 2 slices of wonder bread at best and Cole slawWas dry ......... the counter girl was the only good thing about it.Ideas.... don't over cook chicken ever....Grill your bread a bit for flavor or serve corn bread ☆Dress up your tub potato salad with mustard,relish,pepper.Dress up your Cole slaw as well.Minimize your confusing menuTake down the taco signs on the floor,windows....What are you trying to be ?And I never complain but for the price we paid ....smhhhh
Incredible. Easily on par with the best brisket I've ever had. Next time I'll get sauce on the side for pulled pork.My new favor bbq in lbc wow omg
Amazing ribs and even better brisket and collard greens. The ONLY thing that would make it better would be if the side of BBQ sauce were warm instead of cold ?
just did take out, Ribs excellent, links good, chicken was a bit dry. Mac bites were very good, so were the collard greens and the broccoli slaw. next time we will skip the chiken and order the brisket.
I was sooo looking forward to a juicy brisket and fall off the bones ribs, and everything was sooo dry!! Even the collard greens were chewy and tasted like they had vinegar. Such a shame as I love their taco shops.
I went here on Friday January 7, 2022 . I got a pull pork sandwich couldn't even eat it , tasted like an over load of liquid smoke very over power taste.I know BbQ I've eaten at Johnny Ribs, 10th St. Corner and Naples just to name a fewAnd this by far isn't any good.I know they just opened and I may give it another try , But I would ask first for a sample before spending money there again . One customer wrote it was like a mouth of lighter fluided and I agree.? I hope it gets better because it's very close to were I live .Oh and it's a little pricey for this neighbor hood , I think it's in the wrong location.
It's alright. Overpriced basic bbq. In my humble opinion I feel they should have kept the Mexican food place It was busier, convenient, food was better and had more repeat customer. This place is a place you try once and if you happen to like it you might go their maybe twice a year. I hope that makes sense. lol
