I had the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer and the Gu Ramen with mild spice and egg. The ramen was OK. The broth was plain, however I do like ramen with a lot of flavor and salt so I'll let you be the judge. I like the firecracker shrimp. The dipping sauce was delicious. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. The environment was pretty chill for a Monday evening.
The noodles was great and so was the employees. My server was Cute and friendly. I felt bad for not finishing the food but I was full. I will definitely visit whenever in I'm in LA.P.s. There is a bar right next to Gu Ramen it called R bar. I didn't realize it until I center the place.
I dream of their creamy ramen. Wish they had a non-fried chicken protien option. The pork slices are yummy though. The habachi rice is a must. So yummy and comforting.
Great service, prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. We got the tonkotsu ramen, la cheese won tons, and jumbo shrimp all great and worth the price!
Pretty sure their rice bowls were supposed to be shared. Huge portions on their rice bowls and ramen. Great selection of beers to accompany your meal. The pot stickers only come in three but were amazing.
I absolutely love this place! Their service is fast and efficient. They always have music and sports games playing in the background. The place is never too crowded, which I love. The ramen is a must have because when I tell you the broth is to die for, I mean it! Their jumbo shrimp in the creamy sauce is one of my favorite appetizers. I haven't tried anything else since this combo tends to do it for me. I have heard their Thai wings are tasty. I'll have to try them next time I stop by.
I’m from out of town and OMG I’m glad I found this place! Best potstickers ? I’ve ever eaten, hands down. The Ramen is great, you start with your base-add proteins, spicy level and and additional items. I had mild, with spinach, pork and egg-amazing! I wish we had a place this back home! Great job, fantastic place and service.
Never disappoints. Broth is flavorful but not too heavy. Their hibachi rice isn’t bad either if you’re not in the mood for ramen.
Pretty tasty ramen! The broth is rich and flavorful but not overly so. It just makes you want to come back for more. Not too pricey with great portions. Very friendly staff, and the vibe is just nice. Made it very easy to just relax. Definitely coming back.
The service was great here. I got a few toppings in my Ramen and a little soda so it came out to about $20 for myself for reference but the broth was tasty and I typically wind up regretting eating out because of my "I could have done better at home" logic. The noodles were cool and the chasu was nice. It's really chill here and I'm going to come here when I crave Ramen from now on
