One of the best fried fish I've had in Long Beach. The fish was fresh and seasoned well...fried just the way I like it.
It was the day of their Grand Opening so, I'll try to be nice. ? They were very ill prepared for the crowd volume that showed up. Our order took 1 & 1/2 hrs to complete. ? Not enough cooks and not enough organized staff. The food was good when we finally got it but, upon arriving home, we noticed 1 of our sides was missing. ? We can at least say that we supported this small business but, I'm not sure if we'll be back.
Lightly breaded , well seasoned, not greasy absolutely delicious and order done withing a reasonable time ! Yes I'm a fan !!
Where do I start...... Customer service was excellent, the young man that answered the phone was polite and friendly. I called my order in as we were on the freeway. When you order over the phone you will need to give your card info which is understandable cause folks will order and not show up lol. We ordered the fish, shrimp and oyster combo with greens and fries. 2nd order was a red snapper dinner with coleslaw and fries and a side of hush puppies. We were quoted 20 min and it was ready when we arrived, the young man was still friendly and had everything ready to go. The food was fresh and hot, all of the food was seasoned very well. The coleslaw was ok I'll choose something else next time. The fries were so good, fresh cut and seasoned they looked and tasted like I was back in Granny's kitchen when everything was made from scratch. My hubby gave it a 10 that's pretty big considering he's not generous just because. Overall we were very happy with our food and since this location is closest we'll be back soon. Thank you Fishbone!
This place lacks the consistency of being open when your website list your open for business. Not the first time driving from Orange County to support your business and your not open.
Ordered food overed the phone. When I picked up food I was shocked at how the restaurant looked. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning. Will not be buying food from there again.

The cashier was not fully familiarize with the meals. I asked if the fish and shrimp combo comes with roll/bread she said no. So I bought the garlic bread as an extra side. Which I didn’t need because the meal came with a roll. Also, the fish was fried in Old Oil or it was overcooked as it had a burnt taste and it was salty for regular seasoning. I didn’t get Cajun so it shouldn’t had been salty. I will not be returning $30 for salty food that was cooked in Old/Burnt Oil.
Good food quality fair service
Great service! I ordered snapper dinner with cole slaw and macaroni salad. I also ordered oyster dinner with red beans and rice and collard greens for my bro. Of course I added the hush puppies. For dessert lemon cake. Everything was tasty. The hush puppies are well seasoned and so was the red beans and rice. The fish wasn't dried out. It was cooked just right. We feasted! Thanks for the great service! Like Arnold said "I'll be back!".
