Great food great service amazing people. The fish is amazing. And the cheese cake is better than the cheese cake factory itself

Best fish spot in the LB. Lots of menu options to chose from and one of the most important things to me… great customer service. This is my fish Fridays spot.

Great meal loved it ? fish well doneShrimp excellent I'll be back

Looks like this is under new management/under new ownership. Personally, it was so much better than it is now.Everything seemed fresh enough, but the snapper and catfish nuggets were a bit overcooked. The shrimp were ok, but they lacked flavor. The batter isn't cornmeal based, so everything lacked that southern fried fish crunch! The cries were hot, but limpy and really dark brown. Tells me the oil was old/heavily used so it couldn't get to temperature. Could've used fresher oil for the entire meal. Everything was pretty golden brown but without any crispiness.Overall it was just a solid ok.. sad to see that this isn't the old place but what can you do? Gotta head farther west for fried fish I guess. The tartare sauce was incredibly sweet and tasted a bit miracle whip-based. It looked super good though! I have it a few dips but a bit too sweet for my taste.I don't like leaving not so great reviews but the food was not so great.Good luck to the business.

I visited the place, Ernestine's family fish for the first time May 26, 2022. I haven't been to a fish fry place in years, since I moved from my Southern home state to California. Ernestine's family fish was the first fish fry business that I visited since I started living in California. I ordered the 2 peice red snapper, 7 shrimps and 2 sides. I choose fries and Onion rings. I have been craving fish for over 2 months. I wanted to visit a fish fry business, because I don't eat out. I was hungry and excited as I patiently waited for my order. I didn't think that I had to check to make sure that my order was correct. I drove the 15 minutes home with my order pipping hot. I changed clothes and sat down to eat my food. Imagine my disappointment when I saw that my shrimps were missing. I called the place and the female owner stated that she was one of the owners and wanted to make it 'right'. That mistakes happen. That I can either come back and get my shrimps or forget about It and take the loss. I told her that I paid $12 plus tax for the order and I wanted my shrimps. I owned up to my part, that I should have known to check my order before I left the business. I told her that I was on my way back. I get there and she gives me my 7 shrimps, some more fries and some macaroni and cheese. (I don't even eat macaroni and cheese). If she wanted to make it'right' she could have just given me my 7 shrimps and a peice of cake! I got back home my fish was cold. I had to heat my original order that was missing the shrimps in the oven. The fish ended up dry and tasted very salty. The fries tasted weird, the onion rings were soggy and underwhelming. I couldn't even eat the order. It went down the garage disposal. So, I paid $12 plus tax for 7 shrimps, handful of fries and 2 Onion rings. The first time and last time. Yes mistake happen. I forgave the owners, but how do you forget the shrimps in an order that is advertised as 2 peices of fish, 7 shrimps and 2 sides for $12 plus tax???????SMH... makes no sense..no sense at all!EDITED: I Should not had asked for a peice of cake. It's your business. It was your mistake you should have at least offered. I told you that you didn't have to give me the macaroni and cheese or the extra fries.. you insisted. It was your way of making up for your mistake. Look I am not about to go back and forth over this review. I stand by what I said, and I just let this mistake by your business to be just 'charged to the game'! This is my final response.

I stopped in on my lunch break to get fried red snapper and french fries. I loved every bite. The fish was well seasoned and perfectly fried to perfection. The french fries were hot and crispy. Portions were quite generous. I also got a banana pudding for dessert and it totally made my whole day. I will be going back soon! Love it

Man I went to the LB got me an my fam Some dinner I got fried king crab an so Red snapper an those some of them home fries an some banana pudding the banana pudding didn't even make it home .LoL those folks don't cheat you they gave me plenty food an they make that tartar sauce it's the bomb?on anything I'll just go for the tartar sauce alone ?A give them a go in you out there ????

I was hungary for lunch during work. Bro told me about this place and he's a pretty good judge on quality. But saw Lobster Fries for 20$ and said yeah that looks good. The lady was nice who took the order. She told me it would be a 25min wait for my meal. I said ok. Gotta be worth the wait right?! Well sorry to say, when i received my meal it was not fresh at all, it seemed i waited 25min for a lobster Frie meal that was just reheated. The Fries were stale, the Cheese was not freshly melted like it was sitting and the Lobster tail wasss short of meat and at the least edible. And on top of that, it gave me the bubble guts! Embarrassing i know, but it was the truth. Now im not leaving this review to bash but in the hopes that this fish market really take steps to make sure yall dont serve ppl old food to make up for loss.

I walked into the establishment and found my love for food. The best red snapper I ever had all under one roof. I recomend everyone in Cali come give this place a try. You will not be disappointed! And the best thing--- the establishment is super clean.

I LOVED IT!!!! We ordered the Red Snapper, and it was DELICIOUS; it even had a little lemon kick. The new place is a must try! It's much cleaner and the staff is much more pleasant
