Server added their own tip on my TO-GO order…This is the SECOND time this has happened, we all make mistakes but twice? I don’t think so. Unacceptable. The excuse is, the tips are put in by hand. This last time when I ordered to go I did not add a tip because the server was rude. How do you overcharged a non-existent tip? No.

Never again.I've never been to a restaurant where I have been denied ordering a-la-carte tacos. Especially a one where I have done so in the past.On my first visit here, I took my cousin from West LA. I ordered ceviche and 3 tacos a-la-carte. I also ordered 2 tacos a-la-carte to go.On my second visit, you guessed it, tacos a-la-carte, carnitas. Also, I ordered pasillas asados. And today, on my third visit: Extremely disappointment bringing my family members here today who are from San Diego. Who like me, enjoy ordering a-la-carte tacos and don't often care to get eat beans and rice. While I had planned on ordered Ceviche ($15) and a taco which would have been the cost of a platter, I only ordered ceviche. My aunt and cousin changed their orders to accommodate this ridiculousness of this restaurant. I asked the waitress why, she said "I don't know why, maybe because Enrique is here."The few times I have been here, the staff has been friendly. The service has been ok, nothing special. The food is good, however, never again.

Words cannot express on how much this location continues to provide good service starting from management to crew. They are always friendly and helpful, along with good quality food with no problems at all. I strongly recommend that this location is given a 5 star rating because that's what we as customers want and they deliver as always. Much respect to the owner of this location for having a good strong crew along with their management. We will always continue to go to this location on a regular basis going forward.

Amazing food and great service. The enchilada sauce is especially wonderful. Meat and veggie options, the black beans are great. My wife and I really love Enrique's. The parking lot is cramped and busy but it is well worth the trouble.

Stopped in to have chips and a beer before ending our date night. Nice patio outside. Service was less than attentive but decent price and good salsa.

Got recommendations from a good group so we went. Space is cute but quite worn. Server was very nice but handling too much. Enchiladas had mozzarella cheese… just not great or authentic tasting. Salsa was good. Kind of pricey.

First & last time eating here. We were very disappointed. I ordered two hard shell shredded beef tacos and I was told I can’t order ala cart and that I had to order a combination plate with beans & rice. Really! I wasn’t that hungry,I ordered a chili verde burrito. I didn’t care for the Chile verde sauce & the pork was bland. We also ordered some guacamole dip that had so much mayonnaise in it that it didn’t even tastes like avocado. They are a bit pricy but the portions were good.

Enrique's Mexican Restaurant on PCH and Loynes Drive, in Long Beach, CA ...is the BEST Mexican Food ! Their Servers are Excellent and very attentive. Their Homemade Chunky Salsa is excellent, Food Quality is a 10 ! You've got to try Their Huevos Rancheros with Avocado and Sour Cream on the side, with Chunks of tender shredded Beef !

Bring your appetite because the portions are large and flavorful. We started with the queso fundido with chorizo and it had plenty of cheese. Our entrees were the carnitas dinner and chicken veracruzano. Both meats were tender and flavorful, and had more cheese. We'll be back!

Have tried this place 3x's now. All I can say is it lacks the real taste of true Mexican food. Like many of the Mexican food you find in Long Beach. it's just ok, plain, nothing special. They seem to cater to the not too salty, not to spicy, not to real Mexican food crowd. Salas awful, no flavor, like water, no spice/hot, had to ask for a lime and add my own salt and pepper., how about a little garlic? Seriously! guacamole worse, not one thing I have had there in three visits is worth the trip. If you want a good Mexican meal try eating at a place that serving their food to real Mexican people. I've had much better off several of the newer Mexican Food trucks around town.
