I'm giving 4 stars as the food and even the service was not terrible it was just slow. Now when I say slow I don't mean they were working slow and orders were taking a while but more that the employee just seemed like he was not all there at work that day. Basically I went in to pick up a preorder and gave my name and the guy said "one second" sure no problem. Then a woman who was waiting asked if her order was ready as she had been waiting. They bagged her food and said just waiting on a taco salad. They took a while and she complained her other food was getting cold. It was a valid complaint in my opinion and she wasn't rude about it. I thought to myself "is this what I am in for tonight?" Regardless I sat down to give them the benefit of the doubt. 10 min later I walked up and the same guy asked me "order or pick up" as if I just walked in the store (this is why I say it seemed like he wasn't all there that day). I Gave my name again and they grabbed the order. Not sure if it was already ready when I first arrived or how long it was sitting there but it was still hot so no big deal on that part just felt I wasted 10 minutes sitting there when I didn't need to.
Michaelson the cashier is to be applauded! It’s awesome to see friendly happy fast food employees- for a minute I thought I was at in n out!:)
The service was good and exceptional. The restaurant was big and clean. Got my food fairly quickly and was steaming hot to perfection. My whole order was correct. Will definitely be back for a quick lunch/dinner next time I am craving El pollo loco!
One of my favorite places has always been this restaurant their chicken is amazing and their second thing has always been the black beans to my surprise it's no longer on the menu what's a disappointment but of course the chicken was amazing like always I went in and ordered my chicken to go so it was take out
Not consistant ever. One day food is fresh and hot. Another time food is stale, old and whatever. Alway running out of wings and thighs. Feel like they do this to force me to buy the more expensive meal.
Chicken was marinated and grilled.. delicious, also enjoyed the homemade pinto beans and fresh salsas. I would return.
Typical takeout EPL experience, good food presentation, pretty fast,, etc. Kinda giving up on the dining room people being nice or friendly, though.
The time was about noon and found the place organized and clean. I ordered my lunch and didn’t have to wait long.
I live near this El Pollo Loco. The food is consistently good. The drive through has made several mistakes on our drive through orders. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
Worst pollo Loco ever.really bad tamale convination..and the pollo had no flavor.Not to mention the tamal...must learn to make tamales.
