This location's kitchen is always dirty!!! Every time I order online, they ALWAYS mess up my order. Items are either missing or items that I requested to be removed are added. This past week, I decided to give them another try, I placed a pick up order and when I got to the restaurant it was closed! I tried calling and there was no answer. Fortunately, I got my food from the drive through window but when I was about to eat it, I realized the avocado was black... This location kitchen and dining area is ALWAYS dirty, they're always low on salsa's and never answer their phone... This location was my go to place since it's close to me but I'd rather pay extra for delivery from another location because I ALWAYS have a bad experience here.

Waited 30 minutes to be told they wouldn't have more chicken for 20 more minutes...at lunch after I waited 30 already and both my friends had food and were waiting in the car. Given a refund from a very unfriendly manager. It wasn't my fault but she was upset with me not wanting to wait the additional time. Baffled they would keep selling and have someone wait 30 before saying they didn't have any more for additional time. Nothing good in this experience except I did dodge all the crackheads in the parking lot.

This place was in wretched condition. The men's bathroom smelled awful...there was a puddle of pee water on 1/3 of the floor stinking, and there were no paper towels to dry after washing your hands.The restaurant was also lacking napkins (for your meal), straws, and lids. All the trash cans were overflowed with garbage. Perhaps I just caught them after serving a large messy crowd/lunch rush. To me it appears like bad management and lack of pride. It was revolting and i now wonder what condition the kitchen is actually in....do they clean it or is it neglected as well. Yuck!The one and only redeeming quality about this visit was the charming and handsome cashier who took my order. He was extremely good looking and was very courteous and well mannered even when i told him his restaurant is out of everything and the restroom was disgusting! Once he turned around though and i saw his butt i was stunned stupid and when he handed me my order, i couldn't remember what my order was...so despite me checking the contents of the bag, I didn't realize the order was incomplete! Lol

Every time I come here is a long wait! But today 30 min. long is (record Guinness) the most longer time for fast food drive-thru all for the Birria tacos ? first time to try out and there were burned $10 ain't worth it I took a pic. to share with ya! I was starving ? and tired from work I parked to eat and what a surprise!!!!?? not recommended!!! If you curious and wanna try/see youself!!! ????

When here on a 30 minute lunch break and ordered soup two piece chicken with a side of rice and beans I didn’t get any utensils Even though I selected to add utensils. Now I can’t even eat my lunch because I don’t have any spoons or napkins I’m eating chicken with my hands and wiping my fingers on my jacket. How am I going to order a soup and beans and not even get a spoon.

I thought El Pollo Loco had some quality control standards in practice . I drove thru got lunch ,2 pm, and my chicken was so dried out over cooked and barely warm! It must have been sitting on the grill for over an hour. The mashed potatoes and gravy were so runny, I drank them from the container! Terrible food … I will never stop at this location again ! I should have returned the lunch for a refund or better products. Was on the go doing service calls. Lesson learned, beware ….

This is the worst el Pollo Loco ever. Employees are usually always rude and 90% of the time my order is wrong or missing items. Especially sauce, they are so stingy and it doesn't come out of their pocket! Any item I order is always subpar to any other el Pollo Loco. I ordered a large side salad and asked for extra dressing and I legit got none, it was just lettuce and chips. Didnt have time to go back as I was rushing to work so that was a waste. One time I didn't get my debit card back, and they told me that was impossible. I went back, SURE it was there and I got so much attitude, the worst I've experienced. The manager came out and said she would "double check" and sure enough, it was in the back office. I live 3 mins from here and I've gone atleast 15 times, out of starvation and I'm always disappointed and more broke. Lol.Save your time and money and go a few miles down long beach blvd. There's a better one, not by much, but it's better.

I tried the new tacos and they were awful ?. No meat and the meat was burnt in it. I took pictures and went back the next day and ask for refund and got it. The sauce thin not thick like show on TV. No taste. I didn't try the burritos yet.

This is the worst El Pollo Loco I've been to. Always short staffed so there's a long wait. What I take issue with the most is how filthy the place is. I never want to eat inside. It appears that no one comes out to clean the dining area. Food on the tables, trash on the floor and by the soda fountain. Not to mention the kitchen itself. These kids, because that's what there are know nothing about cleaning along the way. Some wear gloves, some don't. All the prep areas in the kitchen are loaded with spilled food. I only go there in a pinch. I don't recommend it at all. Management needs to be fired

Waited in drive through for 30 minutes got to the speaker to order at 9:59p.m. for them to say there closed asked what time they closed she said 10p.m. The lady said there short staff and she was the only one working so couldn't take my order very unprofessional to have you waiting to order to not get anything.
