Not even a real restaurant, have to use a kiosk. Doesn't take cash. Waited 40 min for food. Ribs sucked. Beans sucked. Chicken sandwich was edible. Don't waste your money here.
My wife and I wanted to try Dixson Family Kitchen and got the brisket and chicken wings, cabbage, mac and cheese, baked bean and fried okra. We were very satisfied with our order, the smokey flavor of the brisket was my favorite I honestly didn't want to share but I love my wife and son so they had some lol, Hats off to the cook! Lastly for dessert we had the brookie and peach cobbler and as a big cobbler fan I have to say, this was one of the best! Definitely homemade and not store bought. I'm giving 5 stars not just because it was great food but also great service, I ordered online drove 15 minutes and our order was ready.
This is definitely the place to go for fried chicken, mac and cheese and the upside down peach cobbler. I loved the food it was well seasoned, tasty and delicious. I had purchased a Groupon and had an issue when I attempted to place my order. The owner came out and introduced himself and assisted me in resolving the issue by helping me order my food and accepting my Groupon. The customer service was excellent and I will be going there again for the upside peach cobbler it was fabulous! One of the best desserts I have ever had I tired to eat the edges of the crust once i had finished the dessert. LOL I would highly recommend this restaurant for the food and the outstanding customer service.
The food was seasoned to perfection, I enjoyed every bite. I had a little trouble ordering, because I didn’t realize that the first step was to select the desired restaurant from the kiosk. The owners wife saw me struggling and came out and cheerfully assisted me. She was delightful! I definitely plan to go back again.
The food is amazing .if you like down home cooking this the place for you .Say bye bye to diet, the mac n cheese is a girl's best friend . Hey don't judge hehe. The food is made with love and made by culinary chef Lee and his luvly beautiful wife Kambraia. Good ole Kansas city BBQ. Allmeat asaures. welcome yes you are meat loving dinos. The dessert s are magnificent. Try it really your tummy will say thank you and say feed me ??
I had the pleasure of going to Dixon’s Family Kitchen over the weekend after I attended a BBQ. I heard the food was incredible and the peach cobbler was amazing. Since I already ate BBQ that day I just decided to order the peach cobbler for me and a friend. OMG it was Fyerrr!!! If I would have known the peach cobbler was going to taste like this after I made it home, I would have turned around and got me a plate of BBQ that I’ve also been hearing incredible reviews about. I’m going back this weekend for sure. I live in Inglewood but it is definitely worth the drive.
Ordered the Ribs and the brisket plate. The mac n cheese was bomb!!!! All the food was good, loved the sauce and especially the peach cobbler was fffyeeerrrr
My new favorite soul food place in the area. Owners were really nice. We ordered the wing meal w mac and cheese it was so good. Will definitely return.
