On 5/14/22, went to this location for a 3 item plate. Double chicken and a helping of brisket. One employee reminded the other I should have double chicken but when I got home, 1 helping of chicken and 2 helpings of brisket. When I went back to have corrected, employees told me that they knowingly gave me more brisket because they were out of chicken. I informed them it is very disrespectful to just make up a customer’s order if you don’t have what was ordered. It is also deceitful. After complaining, I was then told they had the chicken that they failed to give me in the 1st place.At this point, I asked for a refund and the employee told me he can’t give a refund. Now I’m stuck with the food after they lied, tried to deceive me and refused to refund (stating I don’t know how). At least I have what I ordered after having to make two trips, arguing and wasting time. Such a great experience , I won’t be back. Barbecue is not worth your self respect.
The initial customer service is horrible! There’s nothing worse than trying to support a business that’s supposed to be open and the employees are inside working and clearly see you outside and fail to open the doors on time!!!! They are supposed to OPEN at 11am. We were there today at 10:55 and left at 11:18 ?
I would only frequent the Manhattan beach location and it was fantastic. As for this location Walking in May be your best bet. As for delivery, they “ran out of all of the meats an hour before close.” They Accepted the order and refused to cancel it, I was informed I had to contact support. I just wish I new sooner than my delivery driver arriving. It’s extremely inconvenient when you’re hungry… although it was An inconvenience, the cashier over the phone seemed apologetic and nice.
Big sandwich. People were nice. Clean—which is amazing for a BBQ restaurant. However prices were screwed up on board. But they fixed my order. And the sandwich was more than I could eat. So prices are fair. Tasted great. Overall, I’ll go back.
Halal. Great customer service. Super delicious food. I really like the spuds and jalapeno beans.
If you came to LA and didn’t try Dicky’s why did you even come. Best Halal food In Cali no doubt.
When I got home and I lived more than 30min away. The meal/ribs skimpy hardly any meat on the bones. I called back to complain. The person wasn't helpful. I asked for a manager. He was apologetic but couldn't send a better meal because he was short staffed. He said if we would bring the meals back he would take care of us. Since we already paid for the meal and we're very hungry. My step mom drove back to Dickies and he did take care of us but we would be hard pressed to go back there...
Amazing ribs and smashed potato. Service is friendly, restaurant is clean. It was funny decorated for the Halloween.

Food is really good, especially the brisket and wings. Everyone who works here is super friendly too.
