Delicious tea different ones to choose from. Fast and nice people working there.

Honestly, I wanted to love this place. It's cutely designed, the prices aren't awful but beyond that, the entire experience was disappointing. The boba was chewy and undercooked, I don't want to have to gnaw my way through a marble in the middle of mush. And my Thai tea? Was gross. Really really gross. It tasted like old socks.Such a bummer.

Boba was amazing but the drinks were extremely sweet for a first time try even when I reduced the sweetness from 5 pumps to 3. Probably would've done 1 pump if I knew. Other than that, everything was tasty! Even the crispy chicken (aka popcorn chicken).

I don’t get all the hype. I ordered their mango green tea but all I could taste was sugar. No tea flavor. Three stars because the boba were really fresh and soft and the service is super fast. But they need to lower their standard sugar level.

Okay Coffee, terrible service. Asked for a simply if they had anything similar to a medicine ball and was met with a cold stare and rude “no”. I asked if they could make anything similar and the cashier met me with the same cold stare and replied again “no”.

During my visit, Cha For Tea has one option for individuals seeking a Vegan food option. The meal is decent though I feel like I might as well go to a market during the middle of my meal. I appreciate the factoid about frying Tofu potentially contaminating a Vegan product with animal byproducts because the non-Vegan options go in the same fryer that anything that needs frying goes into. Otherwise, it seems like a decent hangout spot/go to spot. Decent customer service.

I have always enjoyed the food and drinks here. Pre-Covid, I was given a "frequent diner" discount card. For obvious reasons, I hadn't been back in a while. I went in today with a craving for a Peach Green Milk Tea with Boba and was excited to get 10% off with my card. The team there acted like they had never seen this card before, asked if I had the correct place... I did, it was listed on the card with their location and phone number. They questioned me again and refused to give me the discount specified on the card. For what amounted to about $0.50 the refusal made me more confused than anything else. Is the cost of a guest leaving 100% happy versus mildly annoyed and not really wanting to go back worth $0.50? The drink is still as good as I remember... but drinks are good at a lot of other places too...

Cha for Tea is a popular eatery for college students in the area. And it's easy to tell why. They are efficient and have great boba. If you find yourself out of your element the staff will be able to help you make the perfect drink. if you live at CSULB it's only a short walk. I give Cha 4/5 stars

Cha Irvine regular here - 10+ years - where service & quality are always fantastic, we LOVE CHA! Occasionally go to Cha Long Beach which was solid in the past, but last 2x disappointing - hot teas were BARELY WARM & forgot boba (even tho clearly on the order sticker). Will still return though, since we love Cha, but just check order carefully before leaving.

i really like this place and the food especially the crispy chicken, but i was frustrated that they missed the sweet and sour sauce on my chicken, so im not enjoyinh it much right now. I understand the place is always busy but make sure to double the orders. Thnaks
