Food was good, service was very poor. It took almost 30 min to be greeted by our server, I ordered the short ribs plate the waitress told me when I order it was a heavy meal. That plate never came, when we where ready to close our bill we made sure that was not going to be on the bill and the waitress had no idea of what we were taking about. The waitress never came to get our money, someone else had to close our bill. Never going back.
Great food, good service, but you can't have a good time for any longer than 2 hours!Having just finished our food and waiting for another drink which was on its way, the manager came over and told us we would have to leave as he was imposing a 2 hour time limit on the table!!!! There was only the two of us, so we paid our $250 bill and promptly left, no tip! A great shame because we were having a good time. I was going to leave our waitress a 30% tip, but I was so enraged by the managers stance we just paid the bill. If the service staff are going to let the management interfere with their livelihood then so be it, a very poor way to treat high paying customers, I could perhaps understand it had we of been there for two hours nursing just the one drink!We will not return, lots of other places to try
Great food. Great service. Good music. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good time. Not inexpensive by any means but definitely worth it.
Awful service. No appetizers and they don’t have the patience to offer food recommendations. Next to it there is a great seafood restaurant (King Fish) the service is amazing and the food is delicious.
Everything is Delicious! Live music is great. Perfect evening to relax with a great entertainment and awesome company. Loved it!
Pretty dang expensive. Too me the food was so far from my normal that it was hard to get into. It's pricey and very dark inside. We ordered drinks and tapas. I really liked the braised ribs I think..it looked like cheesy pizza with avocado and braised ribs. Good but too expensive for me.
We were super excited to fly into Long Beach and go to Cafe Sevilla. We made reservations 2 weeks before landing. Let me just make it clear that the servers and staff were mostly nice but the SERVICE in general was one of the worst I've ever Experienced. Our reservation was at 7 for 2 and we got there at about 6:57. The hostess had a bit of an attitude when we were checking in. She said it's going to be at least a 10-15 min wait . (Why did we make reservations?). Then the 7:15 arrived and he seemed to be a regular so she was eager to seat his party of 3. We got seated pretty promptly within 10 min. The waitress walked us up stairs and sat us in a tiny table on a corner(also fine). Then about 5 min later the 7:15 party of 3 got seated next to us. We waited for about 40 min until anyone checked in on us to take our food order while the 7:15 table already ordered and got all of there food before we could even order! We had 5 different servers bring us food that we didn't order(because we didn't order anything yet) . Our waitress finally arrives and starts by saying " sorry we're so busy downstairs I forgot about you guys haha". The food was great but the way we were treated was horrible. So we got a few of our plates and then just decided to get the rest to go and eat at the hotel. The whole point of coming to a restaurant is to get out and the vibe. We paid over 200 and that's with an 18 percent tip. Only reason we tipped was because I use to work in the industry but I've never seen anything so unorganized. They stuck us in a corner and forgot about us. I would not recommend this place to any couple just based on the experience. Take away is probably a better option.
The ceviche was outstanding. Octopus was delicious and cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The Pineapple upside down shot was smooth with great taste.
The paella was excellent. The service very strange. Super forward almost to the point of rudeness. Good food and great live music.
Lovely staff and atmosphere, would highly recommend ??
