Best Italian food I've ever had. We ordered the chicken meatballs, gnocchi, ravioli and it was all so amazing. It is a hole in the wall but it is a must if you are looking for Italian food in Long Beach. I was telling the server that it was the best Italian food I ever had and multiple people in the restaurant were shaking their head yes.
We enjoyed our food and service was outstanding. Reasonable corkage. Small unassuming restaurant with both inside and outside seating. We will definitely visit again.
Always love the cozy environment friendly folks here. Nicely semi covered patio now. Only suggestion is to put some variety in the entree pasta side.

Cute little spot. Minimal tables inside, some outside. Food is delicious, made fresh. Veggies such as tomatoes on bruschetta and green beans of the highest quality. Food is definitely made with passion and love of the craft.

What Cafe Gazelle lacks in looks, it more than makes up for in their service and food taste. If you have a pallet that enjoys spices, tastes, texture and a food melody that's pleasing to your senses then this is your place. It's not your run of the mill Italian, it's more complex with flavors that reach out and have layers of tastes from beginning to end. If you not a person who enjoys flavor layers and just wolf's down food without really tasting it then this Italian gem is not your friend. Service is old school excellence with elegant manners.
Our favorite place for pasta. Amazing food, clean, simple, great ambiance. Hole in the wall but been around for 40+ years! They will make any pasta you want. My custom order is the angel hair pasta with shrimp scampi, and add some bacon bits. We come here to celebrate birthdays. It's delicious.

Nice outdoor dining, had the Fra diavolo frutti di mare with angel hair pasta, salad and a tiramisu for dessert. Expresso finished the experience, all were superb. Nice wine list as well with a rutherford cab followed by one of the owner's suggested wines. Highly recommend for good Italian fare. Belmont Shore.
