BROADWAY PIZZA & GRILL,Is soooo DAMN GOOD!! From the excellent customer service from the female staff that work the cash register, and the guys in the back cooking the tasty food they sale!! I always enjoy myself when i pick up my order for take out!! Chatting with the staff up front (one of the females is quite hilarious/got to get her name!!) she keeps me entertained while i wait on my order.. i used to live downtown LB and would go eat there often!! Now it's not as frequent as before but the food is still very pleasing and the staff still great people!! From a salad to a cold drink if you like that after a long work day!! Or even a hot summer day you could eat outside and enjoy the day with a cold one or two haha!! I love, LOVE the Parmesan Steak Fries they sale, with their Ranch dressing!!! (?? that is ? the bomb!!!) ranch is what keeps me coming back to any eatery!!! Very chill ambiance and they always have their Tv's on so u can enjoy a came or a show as well!! I recommend this place ?% it wont disappoint you at all!!
Poor service. I ordered Doordash 40 minutes in advanced and the young lady at the counter claimed she didn't have my order although I had been charged the $46.00. Then she completely ignored me from that point onward. I also felt ignored because of my race. It felt emotionally unsafe in the restaurant for me. I have never experienced this in life. I will NEVER shop at this restaurant again. The customer service is very bad.
So you’re in Long Beach and you’re staying at the Westin or the Hyatt and you have a hankering for some pizza or, just as likely, you gotta feed the kids before you go out.For the love of God, don’t order from a chain. Get on your mobile delivery app or better yet walk for seven minutes to Broadway Pizza and order a large pepperoni and some garlic mozzarella knots. Have 394 IPA while you wait. Maybe the owner will tell you some neat stuff about Tony Gwynn you didn’t know while you wait. Maybe not. The worst case is your kids learn what real pizza supposed to taste like.
Pizza: 4Service: 1Average: 3 - I'm sad to write this...We arrived at 4:15, there was one other table finishing up and one or two guys at the bar, so not busy at all. After about 10 minutes I went up to order because at this point I assumed they didn't come to the table. The waitress said she'd be out in a minute to take our order.After a few more minutes she came over and finally took our order. 1 pizza, a coke and a water. The drinks didn't come out for a long time - the server came back and said "I got distracted taking your order..." so we waited a while more - the drinks came out about 2 minutes before the pizza.The pizza was really good - but for adding jalapeno and black olive, there was very, very little to justify the charge.We ran out of liquid - jalapenos are warm. No refill, server never even asked if the pizza was ok, no more contact. I took our glasses up for refills, and refills just never came...we finished our pizza and sat for a few chatting - then our refills came out - great timing.There are SO MANY pizza choices in LB - if I feel like I'm interrupting you and you're indifferent to me as a customer, I can walk to many other spots.
I ordered the lasagna and it was delicious, presentable and served hot and fast. The place was clean, and the service was courteous. It was not the best lasagna in my life but I'd eat it again.
Had the Pesto Pizza and a Moscow MulePesto Sauce, Mozzarella, Di Bufala, Roma Tomato, Fresh SausageSmall $16.00The tomatoes were at the perfect temperature.
We had three appetizers for dinner and were very impressed. This was our first visit here but won't be our last. The wings were good-sized and tasty. The cheesy garlic bread rolls were nice and the sauces that came with them were all delicious. The fries were good too.
Good food, but the website and delivery process is complete garbage. I made an online order because the website said the store was open. It wasn’t. They took my money and I didn’t get notified. I had to go to the store in person to get a refund. I tried again and made sure the store was open. They took my money, told me it would be an hour, and I waited. After an hour when no food had arrived, I contacted the store and was told that there was no delivery driver. No one notified me of this. I left specific contact instructions that weren’t followed. When I asked for a manager I was told that he’s only there Monday through Friday from 2-4. The staff is completely left on their own and when there are issues they can’t do anything but apologize. Go in person. Don’t bother with anything else, and if something goes wrong, I hope you don’t have a job because the manager can only help you M-F from 2-4 pm. To the manager/owner: run your restaurant, hire someone who can or give your staff the authority to tip the things you refuse to!!
Great food and customer service. Definitely worth the visit if you're in downtown Long Beach
