From the first bite to the last, it was absolutely delicious. I got açaí, Macha, and blue coconut base with maple quinoa granola, chia yogurt, almonds, toasted coconut, strawberries, and date honee. It’s soooo good!!
Fresh bowls!! I will mention that this location is inside of The Hanger among other restaurants. So you'll need to park get out and go inside to order.
I am a big fan of Acai Bowl. I heard a lot of good things about this place, so I decided to give it a try. Blue Bowl is located inside the Hangar. It is similar to a food court that has multiple vendors that you can choose from.I got a medium bowl. They offered a variety of base. I am not a big fan of coconut, so I did not try their famous blue colored base (coconut flavor). I picked Acai, and blue chia pudding with chocolate granola. I chose banana, strawberries, blueberries, sunflower seeds, goji berries, and cranberries with the butter. I am a little sad when I found out that they do not have almonds and Nutella. The taste of acai was a little blend, and I had tasted better acai base before. Also, I was a little disappointed that they do not offer almonds and Nutella (not a deal breaker). Service was a bit slow, which required a little bit of a wait.
Horrible customer service! I asked for a small bowl in a medium cup so that the contents of the bowl do not spill over the top like it usually does. The manager of the store, Daniel, shrugged his shoulders and said no with an attitude. Then proceeded to describe how he “just works here” and doesn’t cut the checks or makes decisions, and said take it or leave it. It’s one thing to not accommodate a simple request from a regular customer, but to have an attitude with a customer when in a managerial position is unacceptable. Especially when the customer gives their business almost daily. Horrible policy and terrible customer service by a supposed manager. No problem solving skills or customer service skills whatsoever.
Tried this on a recommendation and loved it. I didn't know what I was ordering, but I pretty much went wild with all the topping and it still tasted good!
It was my first time trying out Blue Bowl. Did I like it? Yes. Did I love it? No. Is it worth $11 for my medium sized bowl? No, I felt it was worth about $7. I likely won't go back on my own because it feels very overpriced, however I'd happily grab something there if a friend was wanting to go there in the future.
Went here for the first time and really loved the açaí bowls. They have different flavors and options to pick from. It is full of fruit and lots of good stuff. The blue part of the blue bowl is really good. Very healthy and refreshing. Would definitely come back here again.
Best açaí bowl ever! So many choices to customize your own bowl however you want for all the same price depending on the size you want. Quality ingredients and unique bases other açaí places don’t have. Staff is super friendly and all wearing masks. Kid and COVID friendly.
Great spot for something refreshing. So many different combinations are possible but if you're feeling lazy or a bit overwhelmed on your first run, just grab their Lazy Blue premade bowl.
If you’re looking for açaí or just something refreshing you should at least try it out. My first time having so many options with the different bases. Blue coconut is a favorite, sweet but not too sweet. Blue chia is also super good and the açaí was surprisingly holding its own and has a really good flavor profile. It’s not like bland and watery or anything. Fruit tasted really fresh especially the strawberries and blueberries and apples lol. Next time I’ll prolly relax with the peanut butter. They also have 3 different types of butters btw.
