Great pizza, cool vibe, good drinks, and nice music (both curated and live). When first opened, they seemed to treat LB as some kind of LA jr. They've grown out of that and have become a solid LBC hangout. The ownership is very nice and the staff are very relaxed (in a good way).
Good pizza. Friendly atmosphere. No trump. No racism. No homophobia allowed. They are super chilled. Great place. A must try.

As an avid traveler and foodie, this place HIT THE SPOT, we had the roasted pepper and bacon pizza. The sourdough has a crust that won't sog, Fetta that's creamy but holds its flavor and cheese appeal!! Service like home, and music to match. You can't go wrong with a place you can stop the owner as she's running tables all the same. Welcome appeal and a meal to bring me back. Until next time. ?✌
I literally come to BLACK for pizza and pool, in that order. The Margherita Pizza is decent. I think the standout ingredient of the meal is the Basil. As a Pizza Connoisseur, I'm a big observer of the dough treatment. The sourdough crust quickly thins toward the center. The dough is soft in certain areas—crunchy in other areas. The sauce is present more so as sauce than flavor. I think the pizza is a decent size. I'm not a fan of the additional pricing (four extra dollars) for a Vegan option of the meal. I have a fun time playing pool though the pool equipment needs attention (dollar games, quarters). I like the interior. With all that, there are a couple pies I want to try.

If ambience was a bar it would be this place. I've had great times here and the most ok of times. When you walk in and the feel is off turn around. It's all about your first impression here. You've been warned...
I’ve dined in at Black before but haven’t actually taken a step in their building. I adore their pepperoni pizza and in the midst of curbing my tendency to order a pie once a week. I’ve also heard wondrous things about their elote pizza. To sum it up, this is my favorite pizza joint in all of LB.
This bar is a great dive. Cool environment, pool table, classic music and always good movies on the big screen. They have the best pizza in this part of Long Beach. Vegan friendly too! I’m addicted to their pepperoni pizza with vegan cheese. It’s the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. Definitely check this place out if you are going out on Broadway
