A few months ago, I had this sudden nudge to start a business in the beauty industry, performing microblading and ombre brows. I then began searching around in LA, South Bay (where I lived) and OC, for artists with academies that provided training. I came across Beccs on yelp and followed her on IG (@beccsbrows ;-) ). After messaging her on what she offered I decided to go with her, and it was an added bonus that she was so close to me, right in Long Beach. With her training she teaches 3 techniques (microblading, ombre and microshading/combo brows) and the course is 3 days long. With training, you also get a kit that has every thing you need. Quality machine, needles, blades, numbing agent etc. And you'll be equipped to perform on up to 20 clients, post class.I ended up luckily having a private 1:1 training. Throughout the training, she was extremely sweet, kind, patient, attentive and made sure I understood everything and didn't rush through it all. Along with the lecture portion of the class, there was lots of hands on training, which I personally loved. On the final day of training, I was able to work with my own model and complete my first set of brows, all with the assistance of Beccs, guiding me along the way and being super encouraging throughout, which honestly made me so much less nervous than what I was. The three days def went by too fast, just because I loved being there and learning from her lol, but is definitely just enough time for what's to be learned.I would definitely say that I was more than pleased with training with Beccs. Sooo grateful that I found my way to her and chose her to be my instructor. I like Rebecca she’s very personable. She did exactly what I asked her to do with my eyebrows natural, less arch & hombre. I especially appreciated the way she explained the science of it all ...the mapping , the dermal layers and how deep she went etc. I work in the medical field and have a science background I feel it’s important to have an understanding of that in this business too.I’m not exactly sure what’s expected once the scabs fall off but the color is translucent now. Wish I could post the pictures of the progress here on Google but please go to Yelp and see my pictures to get a clear understanding.I’m not sure why she charges for the touch up ($100) since she charges 500 for the initial appointment but I definitely need to get a touchup I’ll post another review once that is healed.The salon is clean and a septic which is a must for me ! (at another place I got my eyelashes done for a while and kept getting infections when I think back her salon was not clean) Let’s be very clear Rebecca‘s brow salon was very clean.All in all in all I will recommend her for your eyebrow needs. After all ...you don’t want to go cheap when it comes to permanent make up on your face right?
