Scott Nicholas got me to start going to Tony's and it is now my favorite pizza spot in town. great salad and you should try a calzone. thanks Scott!
Great salad bar! love you eat a good salad right before my pizza is ready.
It’s the best pizza in town with ana amazing salad bar!
I've been going to Tony's Pizzeria for many year's now & I have to say they really make great Pizza ? ?. They obviously have other food on their menu that are just as good too.One thang that has changed over the year's is now they don't offer single slices of Pizza no more unfortunately, so my reviewers please keep that in mind when you do go there. The employees are very helpful, nice ??. I highly recommend Tony's Pizzeria to any & all out there that want to enjoy a Wonderful establishment. Also be careful if you have kid/kids that want to play the games ? there, cause sometimes the games either don't work or might eat your money. If, so just let one of the employees know & they will refund your money ? back which in my opinion is right on. Tony's as well has a couple of TV's for entertainment purposes usually sports of some sort or whatever might be on that day that your there.Enjoy ? your experience @Tony's & please hit me up for any further information or details. Thank you for the opportunity ?? to give this review y'all. Your Boy Chris AKA "ThatEpicClip" Follow me on Facebook, Instagram & TikTok.
Stepped inside--cool and dark and I felt transported to those small town Midwest pizza joints I begged to go to as a kid. Arcades, juke box, sports on TV! Guys at the register and stretching dough were extremely nice...above and beyond. Got a personal pizza and a salad bar visit. Pizza was good, and out to my table is about 5/6 minutes. The SALAD though, really hit the spot. Super crisp romaine, fresh veggies, delish pickles and a few house made dressings. I'll be back for that salad bar.
This place is amazing! I always came here growing up with my family. I work at Geweke and got pizzas from them for a company lunch. Amazing customer service and the pizza is delicious! Thank you Vince for being awesome ? This is our new company lunch spot!
I went in for lunch this past Wednesday. The environment was well-tidied up. A young man wearing two silver chains rang up our order and poured our drinks. He was extremely kind and gave the utmost attention to my group's needs. Our pizza itself was well-cooked. The ingredients were flavorful and fresh! 5/5 I will definitely be coming back to Tony's!
Amazing customer service!! WOW ?Fresh salad bar and hot pizza. Great to bring family and friends. They have games to play for the kids.Perfect spot for a lunch date.
I love coming to Tony's Pizzia whenever I visit Lodi, it is a very welcoming restaurant that has amazing calazones that are delicious! The staff are super friendly especially Rick, Joseph, Amanda and Vince. My order is always ready fast no matter what time of day I order here.
There are many pizza places in Lodi. I've been to most, but had not yet gone to Tony's. I am not from Lodi, so working my way through many places is natural, but as usual, I didn't find what I was looking for until the end. There are many newer and flashier pizza places around; they are certainly quite good. Other pizza places have unique features: Rick's is a very thick NY style, Woodbridge is very cheesy and, well, in Woodbridge. Guantonio's is new school and fancy. Smack is the Chipotle of pizza. But what about true, American pizza parlor style pizza? THIS is it. The sauce isn't over dressed, the cheese isn't too heavy, and the dough isn't too chewy or too thin OR too thick. This is key, as finding a true, right down the middle, well balanced pizza is actually a challenge these days. Every other place wants to have something special so bad that they lose the essence of great American pizza. When you walk in, you travel in time to a time when the pizza parlor was king: beautiful wood paneling, simple menu options, and, above all, you get to see the process. They even have the old arcade with a nice Galaga machine. This is peak Americana. How the pizza is cooked is also exceptional: toppings have a dynamic range from lightly braised to crisped without ever being burned. This is beautiful as it gives the pizza depth without leaning too heavy toward crispy or doughy. Nor is it very greasy: the grease profile on the bottom of the box shows a bit of an outline of pizza, but not soaked cardboard. All of this shows a delicate balance in the process, from dressing and building the pizza to the temperature and time it is cooked at.On top of that, they offer a pint, half pitcher, and full of beer. A half works out to two pints, but it was well poured with foam dumped off and a little extra in the forst ice cold glass I was given. On top of that there's a wood stove warming the main dining area. They also offer slices when the schools are in session which I think is brilliant as it will indoctrinate the youth into the joy of the pizza parlor as it was before the 2000s.The staff is friendly and quite busy with take out orders. It may not be flashy, but when everyone else scrambles to be different to a fault, why not try a place that has stayed authentic to itself and continually puts out a quality pizza with defining characteristics?
