I did not grow up somewhere that taco trucks are the primary source of good Mexican food, but have had some experiences with them over the past and generally found the food to be dry. Tequileros does not suffer from this problem, and in fact the moisture level of the burrito I had was perfectly balanced. This tells me two things: the food is fresh and not sitting in sauces or overly watered storage containers and that they aren't using sauces to cover anything up. I had an asada burrito and the meat tasted marinated and well cooked without being over cooked. The rice is light, fluffy, and flavorful as are the beans, and the onions, and the cilantro. And that was something I really liked: there are distinct flavors you can taste without those flavors competing with one another. The tortilla also had a light chew with some crisp browning. It tears easily without being overly chewy. My only disappointment was the heat level of the 'hot' salsa. Perhaps it is because I don't appear immediately Hispanic (but I most certainly am, I assure you) or perhaps they just don't have a hot sauce, but what I got was almost up to mild in my world. The flavor was excellent, it just wasn't 'hot' in any sense. You can ask for more salsa, but if you want heat, make your grandma's recipe and have it ready when you pick your food up. And yes, I have a very spicy recipe for salsa from my grandma, and no, you can't have it.Aside from the spice level, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and it is easily the best Mexican food in town for what it has. It's worth skipping the chips and salsa you get at a sit down place. Plus, two adults ate from here for $20. That's a hell of deal.

Best tacos that I have ever had straight ?

Place is amazing and super quick with orders. Their shrimp burrito is out of this world. Me and my kids love it. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lodi.

BEST TACO TRUCK IN LODI!!! ? ?HANDS DOWN! ?? ??YOU WON’T REGRET! ? ?GOOD PEOPLE! ♥️

They have the BEST tacos that my guy and I have ever had! We traveled almost 2 hours to have our Valentine's day/Anniversary lunch there. We will definitely be back soon!

Wow. The aroma of the Al pastor burrito and quesadilla (had it in both) was amazing and my first bite was a mouthgasm. If you’re hungry in Lodi, eat here. No skimping on quality or portion size.

I absolutely love this place! ? prices are a little bit higher than the average taco truck in town, but they are well worth the extra dollar or so. I typically get the shrimp super burrito ? ? and it's one of my faves. They marinate the shrimp in a mild sauce that has so much flavor. The super burritos come with their famous "tequileros" sauce, and it's amazing. The carna asada tacos are great, with tons of meat for a tiny little street taco! Great portions, friendly staff, freshly made Mexican food ? ?. Located right off hwy 99 and ketellman lane on lodi ca next in the Chevron parking lot. If you are passing through lodi on 99 and want some delicious food, definitely check out this truck!! And if you're a local, iykyk!! ??????

Just ate for the first time, had I'd door dashed, best tacos I think I've ever had!! I tried asada and chicken tacos, love to cooked cheese on the bottom underneath the meat!! Also had asada fries delish!!!

We went to try this truck. Its not bad, but not great either. The taco was good as the meat was good but the hot sauce tasted like your generic hot sauce you grab off the shelf at a Food 4 Less, which is disappointing. Even more disappointing was the burrito. I am sure I ordered it with hot sauce but it was the driest burrito I ever eaten. Even the bottom of the burrito (taco truck enthusiasts, you know what i mean) which usually has all the last good bites was unbearable. I'm usually skeptical with Taco Trucks that look all fancy and I should have trusted my gut. Go for a truck that looks like it seen some miles. Also pricey compared to other trucks

Awesome tacos. Neat and clean and great service.
