Heartbreaking ? what a Terrible Terrible experience Just moved to Lodi and it just so happened we spent all day dealing with a passing loved one. I called at 8:55 pm Friday night 4/1/22 to order a pizza for my 2 kids age 5 and 9 and my husband. We had not eaten since way early due to the situation so I asked the man politely if I could order over the phone but we were coming to Dine in… I thought since it was late (unsure if they were still taking orders) I should hurry up and place an order I’m told they are open until 10pm ok Great…and my children were tired and hungry & I thought it would be appropriate to call in ok… so the man continues as he told me it was fine. We wanted a waitress we wanted the dine in experience he knew that.If I knew I would be treated so badly I would have waited to place the order coming in so we could have a nice dine in experience.Well it definitely was not!! Unbelievable in my whole life of living never have I ever felt such rudeness and unkindness and even sadder that my children felt the unwelcome feeling. The pizza is great I would never hate on the owners sadly the workers made it so terrible I will never go back.Truthfully I feel like it was the young man who answered the phone wish I would have gotten his name. But I feel as if he would have communicated that you CAN Not order ahead of time regardless of any situation to get a nice dine experience. I would have just made my children patiently wait but instead he lied to us saying it was fine so when we showed up, we got the pizza with no ranch, no plates, no anything we wanted sodas and they clearly did not want our service.We tipped ahead of the service letting them know we want to dine in ( and we would have tipped the waitress) like we said to begin with to basically be treated so poor. At the end when I went back up to ask for the owner they said only the manager was there (who was standing 3 feet away) made eye contact & completely ignored me. Thank you for making our day so much worse.
Wow sooo yummy and filling! The pizza was HUGE! It was a large, but everywhere else a large is a small! Bacon.. yes please! It was incredible! GO.. RUN! We had the combo.. added arti hearts with garlic sauce!
The pizza is very good and possibly the best I've had. The gourmet veggie was ?. Salad and drinks were all good and our server was overwhelmed but managed to get it all done and I wish I could remember her name. She was awesome??⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I frequently order from Rick's and haven't had complaints but tonight was extremely disappointing. I ordered Mac & Cheese bites, salad, and 2 pizzas. The delivery driver handed me a sack that was dripping with spilled ranch dressing. The Mac & cheese bites were so over cooked that all the cheese had oozed out of the breading and had then solidified into a large greasy mass of cold cheese. The pizzas would have been wonderful but they were also cold and the crust was tough. So disappointing! I guess I will be searching for a new go-to pizza place.
Rick's has great pizza! They offer a variety of sauce and toppings, and even have a cauliflower crust option. Service is wonderful as the staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. If you've never been, give Rick's a try... you won't be disappointed.
It's good pizza I'm not giving a perfect five stars because the staff wasn't that nice to us when they we ordered, maybe it was because we got there an hour before they closed but regardless of closing times you should always have a nice experience when being served food. The pizza and the wing were amazing. Totally recommend it when looking for a nice family place, they could add some new games for the children to enjoy, I don't have any but it would be nice if it's a family oriented business
I had a small veggie pizza that was huge and so delicious!!! Veggies were fresh and plentiful and the garlic sauce so full of flavor!. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely look forward to a return visit as there was much more on the menu that I'd love to try!!!
The pizza here is great as always. Little on the pricey side. What shocked me is the sodas are no longer refillable so 3 bucks per soda unless your family all likes 1 flavor and you can get a pitcher. Which is still not a money saver if you have 4 or 5 people. Didnt get a salad this time because it was 17 dollars for.a family garden at the time of this post. Family spent 60 dollars on 1 large pizza and 1 small pizza and 2 large sodas and 1 small soda. Go if you want good pizza and can pay for it. Go somewhere else if your on a budget
Love this place. Pizza is kinda like the other "first name" places in Stockton, but way better. Love the taco pizza. Our server was nice and my pregnant wife told me when we sat down 'i really want a drink, will you get a beer and enjoy it for me?'So I ordered a pitcher and she drove home. Awesome date. Will definitely be back.
