Great little Mom and Pop restaurant.
This place has amazing food. The salsa is chunky and freshly made. Grandma and grandpa cook the food in the back. The chicken is tender and shredded. The crispy taco shells are super thick and crunchy. And the hot sauce does not beat around the bush, the heat will knock you down. And the price is right! I must eat here at least once a month. Im hooked!

Unfortunately my husband and I tried this place for the first and last time about a month ago. The food was not good at all. I am so sorry to have to write this negative review but that is how bad the food was. We didn't eat our food but instead of making a fuss in front of other customers we paid for what we ordered and we left. That wasn't all the restaurant had such a severe unpleasant smell, almost as if they had issues with their sewer system. Hope they update their place and better their food so others don't have to have the same experience.

Mazatlan cafe is excellent! We say it's among the better Mexican restaurants in Lodi. It may not possess the same atmosphere as others, but the food more than makes up for it. One of my fav Mexican dishes is Chile relleno, and theirs is the best I've received in a while. Love this place! ❤️
Excellent authentic Mexican food. Generous chips, salsa very, very good. Friendly staff; home-like feel all around. I recommend 100%.5 stars
Not bad... It reminded me of grandmas kitchen with the smell and colors.......food was ok, Big portions but not to much flavor on the chiliqules
