My girl got the Carne asada and I got the trio fajita...#bothbomb and of course the BOMB azz chips an salsa???
Very delicious place to eat. Staff is very kind and fast. Our server was very sweet and very helpful on helping order. The drinks were amazing especially the mango chamoy!! Will be returning because of her excellent customer service.
Small place. Casual, funky cool decor. We had a drink at the bar and ordered food to go. The fish and shrimp were excellent! Unique and tasty salsa. Rice and beans were typical, and that's a good thing. Bartender and service in general was great. The carne asada was a bit tough and sitting in a pool of oil. We'll be back, but maybe not for the carne asada.
Careful what you order here... enchiladas, burritos, guacamole may be ok. However, not a good Mexican food restaurant. I was raised with a fabulous Mexican cook, so I know good Mexican food when I get it. The tortilla chips looked and tasted like warmed up store bought chips. The platters we ordered did not remotely resemble the Mexican food they represented. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food platters, do not go here.
Took a little long and was only warm. BUT.. it was really good! The server was great and the salsa is very unique! Amazing! Loved it and will be back! I did order the garlic shrimp and ended up with coconut shrimp.. BUT again, the server fixed it and it was so worth it! Prices are reasonable!!!! Next time I want the molcatecje!! Yay!
We visited this restaurant as we were in town for the night, on our way to our ultimate destination. It was crowded but the wait for a table wasn't long on a Saturday night. The menu had a lot of traditional, Mexican food offerings. There was a full bar with a good assortment of drinks and beers. Wine wasn't really a good option.....so wouldn't recommend.We had a great time relaxing over a drink and had a great meal here. Servers were very helpful and attentative.Highly recommend for a casual meal, if you're looking for good Mexican food.
Excellent customer service very friendly staff , business owner goes around greeting customers making you feel welcomed great tasting food and the vodka margaritas very good wife and I and friends we've taking there have never had a bad experience here highly recommend this restaurant if you haven't been yet .
I wish I can give this restaurant 10 stars!!!! The food=amazing. The customer service=amazing. When my husband and I walked in the door, the greeters were so happy to see us and made us feel welcome. I ordered the enchiladas al comal. The sauce was so creamy and delicious. The enchiladas were served on top of a hot plate. Gustavo was our server. He was so attentive and made our guacamole tableside! I recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves authentic Mexican food!
First time here. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was good, however, they could have added more salt and seasoning. The guacamole is made table-side, which is a nice touch, but it lacked seasoning. The albondigas soup had good flavor to the broth and had a good amount of veggies. However, the meatballs were not tender and the meat tasted bland. The chile verde had small chunks of pork that were overcooked so they were dry despite them swimming in sauce. The rice and beans were good. My husband had the molcajete. It came to the table sizzling hot, with an assortment of meats and seafood. Again, the meat was overcooked, almost jerky-like and had to be dipped in the sauce to have flavor. We really wanted to like this place as it has been recommended to us several times. Maybe our dinner choices weren't the best they had to offer. We're willing to give it another chance.
Service was good, but I’m just not a fan of being called “Hon” or “Honey” throughout the meal. That’s just personal. The food was just ordinary. Not bad, but the two of us, after eating, felt the same way. Not bad, but nothing special enough to make us want to come back. And we LOVE Mexican food! Service was good. Food was good. We were looking for great.
