DO NOT RECOMMEND dennys in lodi . They have 1 VERY RUDE employee that took 5 minutes to seat us and then she comes out from kitchen wearing no gloves with her hair down in her face. Not to mention she was sneezing and coughing.she said if we wanted to we could wait 20 minutes for the cook to come back from lunch thank you but no thank you I will pass having hair in my food they definitely need better help
It's been some time since I ordered from a diner. So, traveling from Honolulu to LAX, then onto Sacramento, California have been a change. Not only by time, but you wake up and realize, how good it felt getting away to just relax and re-center your thoughts. Our flight was good but my wife said, let's turn around and go back...Wow! I am ready. Anyway, we finally got into our hotel for the night and I remembered the grat meals that Danny's serve, so we stopped in. The floors we clean. This is one of the first measurements to determine if I am going to eat there. The next thing is to smell. It smelled good, my food receptors fire off my hunger sensors. Next to be noticed was the pleasantries of the manager or associates. I gave them a GO because I was recognized by two people, the manager and associate both called me out regardless of their actions in assisting others. Next, order time, how long would I have to wait before my order would be taken, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes or more...working with a short staff and hungry patrons with knives and forks. They passed, my order was taken...wait for it, 10 minutes. They were extremely busy, but they were ready to take my order without any hesitantation. That's good service. I was in and other there. Did a online order and was told to wait by this blond girl just missing around on the computer in front... the brunette just walk away until she see me looking at my order on my phone.. no pick up line... lazy people for got my ketchup for my hashbrown... how the he'll you don't sever ketchup with hash brown the egg seem they took it off someone Plate and gave it to me not yoky I cook so don't think I know my sunny side. I pay 20 for this trash food... they need to fire all the young lazy worker... it just seem they hate working but need money and it's not an excuse for poor trash food
The waitress Ruby was very rude and unprofessional. upon coming to our table she had a bad demeanor and taking when taking our order she had an impatient, and snappy attitude. She then gathered with her coworker and was talking about us and pointing at us. I took my 7 year old here for his birthday per his request and it was such a disappointment. We were more than respectful to her. She never checked on us to see if we needed our empty cups refilled, it wasn’t busy in there but to pint out . And I asked her for our check twice as she let us sit there for a while. My son enjoyed himself but it was disappointing to say the least with her service. As a local I definitely will not be dining in at this location again. She even received a non deserving tip.
Depends on when you come in ,my family and I go in the mornings or early afternoons and we get really good service. Night time service is a whole different setting ,a few times my family and I have come in after I just get out of work and it has been very disappointing.We went the other night and it wasn't all that busy ,we got sat right away but waited for awhile for any waitress to address us or even get a drink order in .My husband I notice there were plenty of waitresses but they were huddled together just talking while we continued to wait to put in drinks or even a food order ,after we got our food nobody ever came to refill our waters or even ask to refill my husband's coffee .Very disappointed in the night young ladies that evening ,they don't seem to take thier jobs seriously or be as on top of customer care like we see during the mornings with the ladies we know well.
Have to say. Just had breakfast here. Did ask for the bacon and hassbrowns, to be cooked well done ( crispy ), They were not .Was very busy, still had great service. Everyone that worked there was very nice and friendly. Did not have to wait. Or ask for more coffee? Big plus for me. I would go back.
My family and I went to this Denny’s today, 1/29/22 and were not treated politely. There was a couple who was ahead of us (we were three) and they were seated right away. We put our name on the list and waited several minutes before another family came in and were seated right away. Then again another family came in and they were seated. There was seats available next to the register and we were not offered them whatsoever. The manager GUILLERMO approached us and asked us “how many” after being put on the list already, we let him know and he said “I have nothing for three” and proceeded to sit down the people who came in right after he spoke to us. I found it entirely rude and disrespectful as we were pushed aside and waited for a seat to be open. The open seats were not offered to us and all we wanted was to sit down and have breakfast before I had to go to work this afternoon. Was it because we were a LGBT family of three? This experience completely ruined our Saturday morning and will not be returning here ever again. Guillermo, if you are going to be a manager of a FAMILY DINER you should be more respectful and polite. A “we’re sorry, there are no booths available at this time, would the seats up front work for you?” would’ve sufficed.
Omg, I just got the most beautiful hamburger I've ever seen in my whole life. Thank you so much, I absolutely love this place. Always the best food, and high quality service TBH.
If you are thinking of going to Denny's on a Sunday night come before 10pm.. because at 10pm they are cleaning the kitchen,so they only serve drinks like coffee, sodas , tea's and desserts .. just letting you guys know. But always good service...
We went very early in Morning. Only 1 waitress for whole Restaurant att 6:30am. She did okay but coffee was slow. Food ordered was Breakfast and it Presented looking Great. Tasted even Better!! Awesome job Cooks!!
