Beautiful interior, nice ambiance, great food. We had lunch here on a winter mid-afternoon. Where Angelo's Mexican Restaurant misses is the service. There was a lady who initially brought out our drinks -- she was A+, but then we found our main server, a man, was responsible for the refills and entree orders. He didn't check up on us or refill drinks.
2 years ago I left a 5 star rating. We went last night and it was a nightmare. The place was busy, but there were at least 5 servers on the floor. We were seated by the door. Which wasn't horrible until a party of 16 arrived and because there was no where left to sit the staff shoved tables together to make space for them. This made a super small walk way in and out right next to us. Our table was repeatedly bumped by others butts, the waitress forgot about us and and ignored us, 20 mins to get drinks. Asked for salsa 3 times. Large tables food came out before ours. When I asked about our food after a 40 minute wait it was brought cold. Horrible way to spend 60Plus dollars.
The food was pretty good. Great portion size on the main dish but, could have used a little more beans and rice.
Great food and loved the margarita, fast service. Waitress was attentive and food was fresh and yummy.
After we were seated at a table we had to ask for a waitress b/c no one would acknowledge us. The food was cold and the worst margaritas I have ever had!! Taco Bell is better than this place!!
Gross. Chips and tortillas are cooked in old oil. A lot of lettuce added to look like there's an abundance of food. Do not eat here.Salsa tastes like old ceviche.One star for the horchata, which is really good!

We had the immense pleasure of dining at Angelo's. We are not local & happened upon them while driving around. Over all the food, ambiance & staff was amazing. I highly recommend them!
Top notch food. Great environment. Love the downtown area surrounding the restaurant. Must go for food lovers everywhere. Highly recommended
Always such great service and good quality food for the price. Wife and kids love the Gravy and cheese while the wait.
