On the way home from a king overdue vacation my wife and I stopped at A&W. As long time Root beer fanatics we were excited to stop by one our way home.The place has awesome cool eclectic decorations everywhere. You can buy huge bottles of Root Beer. So understand that when you order a root beer float it’s gonna be an experience.I went with the double bacon burger and regular fries. My wife went with the chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries. Everything we got was perfect and the topper was that huge root beer float in a chilled mug.This place is a must try.
My order was correct. Meat could of cooked little longer. But it was ok. We ask for our table to be cleaned and they cleaned it. We ask for tolit paper in the womens bathroom and they did and apologized that there was none. We where told that our order would be brought to our table and i think they for got we are walking with cane and cruches. So we went to the counter to go get our meal and we ask for some help with the root beer floats. They where happy to help. The invirerment was great. Happy to return. We have been going here for many years. . The food has change amd so has the name of the hambugars.
Always fast, fresh, and clean. This is “old school” so if you are looking for ordering via a machine/or phone app not here. Real people (Mario) is amazing even the owner ( sorry can’t remember his name) is working along side employees. Appreciate the old fashion hospitality that is so lacking this day and age. This is not fancy just simple burger joint. Never have we heard any type of negative, everyone is positive and works together. So if you want a quick burger or float this is the place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's the 1st of the fast food food change. It was started in Lodi California. They always take care of the vets. They have the best food that you can go to. They don't change your menu.
This place was a bit unusual. It was a half car hop service that was, like I said, unusual. We had a gentleman behind us that ordered a couple of milkshakes. He was stuck behind us in line. I figured that would happen, so I moved up and parked in one of the available spots. No way I'd let that guy sit there for my 20 minute to make order. I pulled up and not even 4 minutes later his drinks were there. I thought, "Well jeez, I'm glad I moved my car so he can get out."I am 100% certain that noone ever lets anyone out. That seems like a pretty quick honking match that I'm not up for. Best to move out of line and park, so others can get out. Poor drive-thru design in my honest opinion.I got the bacon burger.. it was a bacon burger...They should just have people pull up out of the way. I can see why it wasn't as busy as I'm sure it should have been. A hot dog, bacon burger, double cheese burger, 3 rootbeer floats and 3 drinks, and chillie fries.. came out to about $60. Usual.I'd go inside to eat if they allow it. They are still on some strict pandemic thinking at the moment and will use a bucket to collect your money but deliver your food by hand. Unusual? I don't know.If you do stop here for a few drinks, expect to be stopped up in line for a good 30 to 40 minutes if someone is blocking the way.

Always loved A&W... most around the West coast and my home Arizona are gone. So when I get the chance, i stop by for a special treat. This one was really special as its the original #2.... the start of it all in 1919. :)
Went here for a quick lunch, and was very happy with my cheese burger and french fries. Everything was fresh, and hot.
Best authentic real deal A&W! I can't and won't go to any other A&W unless it's this one or the Other original location in Modesto. Best food, always fresh, and the staff super friendly and fast with your order. Anytime I want a real burger meal, this place never disappoints.
Delicious as ever ! Great food and great service! I went through the drive through and the lady who came out to take my card even brought out the kids some lollipops I call that going above and beyond because she didn't have come all the way back to the car but she did.
