Authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Good desert too.
Edit: when they forget to add lemonade and give you soda water only.My lunch was depressing. Not enough noodles, way more broth, missing the crunch of bean sprouts, and utensils to eat it with. No utensils mean I couldn't take it to the park like I wanted. Wasted money and lunch. Taste was alright tho.I didn't even use all the broth, that's how little noodles were included.
Nice clean restaurant. Good pho. Service was a little slow.
Very good food & awesome service. Will definitely be going back.
I don’t understand all the good reviews. Everything we ordered was very bland. The “spicy” basil eggplant literally didn’t taste like anything other than sugar and basil. No salt, no spice. It was supposed to be served with garlic rice, but there wasn’t a hint of garlic. The soup was also bland. Ironically the soup was spicier from the three jalapeño slices in it than my “spicy” eggplant, but other than that there was virtually no umami flavor and no salt or any other seasoning. The spring rolls had almost no filling. They were super crispy, but again, bland because no filling. The shrimp cakes, also bland. Lots of shrimp in them, but NO SEASONING.If you like REALLY lightly seasoned food with no salt, this is the place for you. The appetizers were served with a fresh little salad garnish that was nice, and the vegetables and chicken (I added) in the eggplant dish were perfectly cooked and fresh. It would have been really good if there had been a hint of garlic in the rice, and if there had been any salt or spice in the sauce. I can’t see myself coming back here. The server said none of the dishes they describe as spicy are actually spicy, and I’m betting it’s the same with all the other “seasonings” they put in the descriptions.
Delicious
Serving sizes are huge. At least for the noodle soups.Bun rieu could have been 2-3 servings in Vietnam. I thoroughly enjoyed it though I honestly can't remember what it was like previously. Could have had more crab flavor?Banh khot was not bad. Had a good crispiness to it.
Over-prices mediocre food. Too Americanized for any authenticity left
They make a fantastic lemongrass chicken!
The service was good, and the pork sandwich was good, the meat was soft and easy to bite unlike other restaurants. The soup base was also very nice.
