It was a "Thank You For Your Help" luncheon for a good friend. We were greeted right away and we got to choose the "outside under the awning" table. Unfortunately there was a loud group of men next to us for 30 minutes but once they left, it was much better. We didn't ask to move because we liked the location. We ordered burgers and a salad, all were satisfying. The view was great, watched golfers as they ended their game shake hands, and the beautiful hills. We weren't rushed although it was noon hours, and had a very lovely lunch. Thank you Wente's staff for a good lunch and a time of connecting with friends. Good job.
We were very dissapointed about where the Restaurant was located. We haven't been back for 20 years and expected to visit the restaurant we remembered. We did not want to have lunch with a bunch of loud golfers and horibel ambiance. We finally found out that the original restauant wss the Wente Tasting Room. So we went their for a tasting and the atmospher was great. Why dont Wente Bring back the oringinal location. Never will we go back to the Grill. Sorry
Havenât been here in so long and went to the spot where the old restaurant used to be. The new area is nice, but way more of a casual setting. Beautiful views of the course and hills, but I miss the ambiance of the restaurant. Food and service was good.

Wente is a beautiful property with stunning views. The Grille must be going through some changes, we had the caesar salad with grilled chicken. The lettuce was yellow, not green , way overdressed and the chicken was dry and no flavor. The Grille was not busy, however service was slow. I had requested additional water, waiter didnât return with the water, only the bill. It is not our intention to return.
Looking at the website and online menu I figured this would be a higher end brunch with wine tasting. Boy was I wrong it was more like a Cafe for the golfers to get a cup off coffee. The breakfast menu was very basic the service was ok and the food was decent but $ 16.00 for 2 eggs hash browns bacon and toast with no butter. I thought was way expensive. And a memosa was $15.00 each are you kidding me ? We definitely won't be going back.
Good comfort food, very reasonable wine pricing. Nice outdoor patio setting overlooking golf course.
Loved the view and the food. I highly recommend this place. It's gorgeous and our server was awesome too! :)
This is not the old Wente Restaurant experience. It is a perfectly serviceable golf course grill with a decent view. Nothing special about the food or experience.
