Quesadillas are ok! Steak was chewy and fatty! Salsas and chips are limited. The cashier didn’t speak English only Spanish. Tables had crumbs on them, I dropped some salsa on the floor, got some napkins to wipe it but daaay****mm that floor was filthy, the napkins were black. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Search up taqueria tequila it’s near by and trust you will be satisfied!!
Bad:Menudo tastes like Juanita's from a can. Wouldn't be surprised if it really is though they charge $12 for it. Won't go back with at least 2 other better taquerias in Livermore.Good:Authentic menu offering, friendly staff, clean facility easy access location
I truly wish there was a way of giving negative stars and warning the public. I'm Salvadoran and grew up on pupusas. I've eaten them all over the bay area. My husband works nearby and asked if we might want to try some here for dinner. He placed the order for a pick up hours from then. I've never in my life paid more than $3.50 for one single pupusa. This establishment charged him $6 plus tax per pupusa although there is not one place within the business that states the price per pupusa anywhere and I know with certainty that my neighbors were charged much less at the same place. I contacted the restaurant within 15 min of him placing the order to cancel as soon as he told me the cost at which time I was told that they could not refund him over the phone. 4 hours later after work he comes in for the refund and they REFUSE!! They stated they had already made 16 fresh pupusas within the 15 min from him placing the order and me canceling and were just going to let them sit there for hours and hours until the scheduled pick up time. He left with no pupusas and no refund. I'm so disappointed that a business would do this to a family and that they would take full advantage of him being unaware of what the cost of a pupusa should be even at the most highly regarded pupusa restaurants. This business should be ashamed of themselves and now we are left to take the time to dispute charges with our credit card. Customers beware please. I would never want this to happen to anyone else ever.
WORST CARNE ASADA BURRITO EVER!!! I stopped going to this place years ago when I saw them microwaving my enchiladas verdes and the taste quality of their burritos went down. I decided to give them another shot and immediately regretted it. I ordered a super carne asada burrito and the meat had absolutely no flavor/no seasoning. It tasted like they took the meat out of the freezer, defrosted it, cooked it, cut it up and slapped it on the burrito without marinating or even seasoning the meat. A burrito from Taco Bell has more flavor. I usually like my burritos with green tomatillo salsa but it usually gives it extra flavor, not becomes the entire flavor. I knew it was bad when my boyfriend (he ordered the same thing), who usually doesn't put anything on his burrito, was drowning it in salsa and hot sauce. Smh. I gave them another chance and they failed again. They will never see me again.
SHREDDED BEEF! So I realize it's annoying to put things in all caps, but this is for all the shredded beef lovers out there who find it hard to find. Hopefully the caps make this review easy to find. I've tried all the different taquerias in the area and none of shredded beef but this one and this one is doing it well. Great food. Great staff. Always happy with our dishes. That would be enough for you to try it out. This is my go to and if you want shredded beef, it should be yours too.
