Adequate Mexican Food. I'm from out of town but I was craving Mexican food and looked on Yelp to find this place. It was super busy and so I figured it had to be great but it was just meh. The chips and salsa they offer were awful. The chips were not made fresh and the salsa had no flavor. The chips in my chilequiles were fresh though. My daughter had a basic cheese quesadilla which would be hard to mess up. It was clean and service was pretty quick. Overall, adequate but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
Came in with my coworker and it was already getting packed. Lots of food options and food taste great as well as the Customer Service. I had a taco and a order of sopes, it's a round fried dough with toppings and your choice of protein. My coworker order a super burrito and it was huge from wrist to elbow. And he said it was very tasty. We will come back and order different food. They don't disappoint.
Carnitas super burrito is my go to here because they crisp the Carnitas. Chilequilles were not what I was looking for since they scramble the eggs. Breakfast burrito is best in town.
Los Caps is a hometown favorite! I've been going since high school (20+ years), and I've never once been disappointed. The staff are always friendly, the food is always amazing, and they make a great michelada.
Went in to order a bowl of menudo and it was lacking taste to say the least. The worst part was that there where only 14 pieces of meat in a large bowl. I literally counted them. Won't ever go back

Los Caporales Taqueria on First street in Livermore has moved next door to its old location. This new place is larger and has nice ambiance. We love their salsa and home made corn chips. Our small family is a regular to this place. A nice meal and then a nice stroll through downtown is fun. Staff is really nice and did I say food is authentic and tasty.
If you swing by Livermore and are looking for authenticate Mexican cuisine, you should swing by Los Caporales Taqueria - from their burritos, tacos, quesadillas and more, you won't be disappointed. I've always been a huge fan of supporting local businesses and it's even better when their burritos easily surpass chain burritos from the likes of Chipotle.The homemade horchata is also incredible - and when you get it without ice, you get more bang for your buck.While the burritos can be a bit more pricey than chain restaurants, you are certainly getting what you pay for... always remember that!I bring all my friends who love quality Mexican food here and will continue to do so.
Bomb food and great customer service. Try the fish tacos..
Updated space looks great and food is very tasty! My favorite dish in in this place is Camarones de Rancheros.
