Ordered Tariyaki chicken udon, beef curry rice and fried calamari. They all tasted good. Price is in normal range. Nice service. Street parking only?
Great place! They were very sweet, caring, and fast. The food (I got the Chicken Curry Rice Bowl) was fantastic! For how much food you get, it is very reasonably priced! Will definitely go again!! :D
Ordering food here has become a weekly thing for us! This restaurant has welcoming laid back ambience, and serves amazing delicious Japanese food! Honorable mentions: the shrimp and veggie tempura (battered perfectly, good portions), braised pork belly, and chicken katsu and wagyu beef with curry! Even when we venture out of our usual lineup we still end up trying something that tastes great!! Their customer service is also on point, very friendly staff, always smiling and they even walk outside the check out booth and hand your to-go bag with both hands with a warm thank you.
Feb-29 first time visit. Ordered & dined in. Friendly service & I did not wait long. My real score would b 3.5 stars because the rice was a little too dry and the donburi needed a little more flavor....EASY Things To Fix. I'll go back again and do an update to this review
This was my first visit and I got a delicious Stir-fry Udon. I was satisfied half way through but it was so delicious that I could not stop eating!!! Great service too.
So glad Kokolo opened in Livermore. It's a great spot to dine in or get takeout. The food is filling and delicious. I really enjoy the curry katsu bowl, with a side of the braised pork belly, which is enough for two people! Everything I've had here has been great, and the team there is so friendly. I can't recommend them enough.
Delicious mixed tempura, chicken gyoza and my daughter loved the miso soup. Friendly and attentive service. Also very convenient when you want a quick meal before watching a movie across the street. Happy to support our Livermore restaurants!
My wife and I had been meaning to visit this new place for Japanese katsu-don downtown, and not did they not disappoint! The owners were super nice and the katsu and oysters was freshly fried and seasoned well. Excited to come back again and try out the other items on the menu!
First visit sit down, I had the fried oysters and unagi tempura, both were delicious, and service was very good...only minor beef, diet soda was passed to me in its can...at the very least it should be served in a cup/glass with ice.
We’ve been meaning to try this place out and am so glad we did! I spoke to a very friendly and attentive person on the phone who repeated my order on a Friday night for a family of four (entrees and appetizers) who said it would be ready in 15 minutes! Once I arrived, they were so nice and mentioned they added some complimentary miso soup. I insisted they didn’t have to, but you can tell they’re hospitality and kindness is genuine. Since everything was ready upon my arrival they offered to take it to my car. When I told them I was literally across the street they insisted to take it to my car. My family enjoyed their meal and plan to order from this genuinely nice locally owned (franchise, I believe) business again!
