We came late in the evening at 9pm so service was a little slow. Ordered a burger and fries, and a chicken ceasar salad. Took them 20 minutes to take the order, then 30 minutes to get it to us. By the time the food was put in front of us, it was 9:53pm and they close at 10. We were then rushing to eat our dinner bcuz the staff was being extra loud about moving chairs around and putting them up on the tables so we would see them trying to close up. We get it, you're trying to close and get out of there asap..., but it's not our fault it took 53 minutes from the moment we sat down. Especially when it wasnt busy at all. It's not like we came in and the place was packed and there was 40 orders ahead of ours. That being said, the burger was good, done just the way I had asked for it. Fries were a little greasy, but still crispy. My brothers chicken ceasar looked good as well. Probably just an off night for service, we'll still be back to give the place another shot.
I just ate the best burger everrrr. Don’t judge, This is my first year in the US and the first burger I tried wasn’t exactly top rated so I just assumed Burger cannot taste better than what I ate the first one. The Alehouse traditional Burger with well cooked steak and steak fries is the best burger I have ever had. The place is really big and we sat right outside. I will definitely go again before I leave CA to try out something else. I am so glad my colleague at work recommended that we go there.
Have been going here for so many years now.Started with only going on Thursdays for pint night. Beer of the night and you get a souvenir matching glass.Good food keeps me coming anytime in nearby. Garlic thick cut fries are always perfect. The lollipop is just the icing on top after the meal.
Very popular eatery in Livermore, our party of 5 adults and 2 kids waited 45 minutes on a predictably busy Friday night. Terrific attractive high energy ambiance and very good service from bi-lingual “Sylvia”. Naturally a great beer selection including RR’s Pliny the Elder! Speaking for my wife and me, the sandwiches left us full but unimpressed. Will try another place next time in Livermore.
Good food, great service. Reasonable selection of beers.
Had the seared tuna tacos and a creme brulee. The tacos are generously served with large chunks of tuna, topped with even larger chunks of avocado. The taco could benefit from a trait of ginger. The default side is rice. I looked for something more "sea food", but the alternate selection is more burger oriented. Comes with a lolly pop!The creme brulee is a great surprise. Nice hard caramelized crust, hiding a onctuous vanilla custard. I mean real vanilla, one could see the little black seeds.Good value for the money, nice and lively place, open late.If anything, just try a creme and beer!
We came towards the end of the night with a decent sized party and got seated very quickly. We had to wait quite a while for a server to come over though due to having his entire section sat at the same time. Without being asked the server comped a beer as an apology for the wait. Love the continually great service this establishment provides even when they are busy!
Great Service! Great Food ! Large Portions!
Definitely enjoy going here. Its a go-to for my wife and I. One thing to appreciate other then tasty food is that if anything is wrong with the order they will fix it no questions asked. Their weekly specials are generally good too. Check them out! Get the Pliney the Elder on tap too!
It was a pretty busy night but unfortunately we were forgotten about. My order was incorrect first time around and had time flag down for a correction. Beyond sad service, my mom and I enjoyed both of our dinners. Both of us had enough to take leftovers for a late night snack. I got my fried extra crispy and that was heavenly.
