I was dissatisfied that some foods that you have online menu you didn't have flour chips homemade tortillas. I went to your restaurant especially for these foods that you didn't have.
Horrible service! Our family of four went to dinner last night and were seated on the patio with six other tables of diners - not a full restaurant due to the festival downtown.2 out of our 4 orders were wrong. The server never returned to check on the food or offer drinks or refills on current drinks. Mine was supposed to be chicken and I was given beef - I haven't eaten red meat in over 35 years! Ugh - that first bite tasted SO gross! We had all been finished eating for some time and finally flagged the server down and requested the check (and that the uneaten beef, supposed to be chicken meal be removed from the bill). The server brought the bill but not the credit card slip portion, so we couldn't add tip and total. Since he never returned, we were forced to leave cash and only a 15% tip - which was very generous considering we had no service after our order was taken and I am awake and sick 12 hours later from eating/ingesting a bite of the beef. (Unless it is food poisoning?)I am taking a cue from the server and do not plan to return to the table/ Casa Orozco ever agin either!(I wonder if he ever came back to get the bill/cash?)I strongly do not recommend this restaurant - very poor almost non existent service and the food is not good.
Came here for my grandmas 80th birthday dinner. Absolutely amazing food! Fajitas could’ve had a tad more meat in them but overall everything was delicious. Great atmosphere, large amount indoor and outdoor seating available and though we came in the afternoon saw signs about live music every week.
Great atmosphere and food was delicious. My chelada was not tasty but everything else was excellent
What happened to the food? Years ago, it was so delicious Now, I rather have Taco Bell it's the same food only cheaper
Delicious Mexican food, as well as very tasty margaritas! The aroma while dining here is also very nice. I do advise dining in rather than getting take out. They seem to put less effort into takeout orders. They give less portion sizes and the taste of the food doesn’t come close to being the same as dining in. If you do plan to dine in, however, it is definitely worth the trip.
food was on point an amazing. very attentive staff, drink never was left empty. amazing from the start to the finish.
We had a Christmas Party for 45 on the patio of Casa Orozco on 12/20/21. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we have steered away from large inside gatherings. Thanks Jesus who helped us with the preplanning and setup. He was totally accommodating throughout the entire process. The heaters were on point. Staff helped us bring in a large monitor to view videos. Kudos to Gustavo, who took additional drink/food orders and supervised that portion of our event with a smile. The person behind the buffet table serving the food was also very helpful. When I advised I could not have flour tortillas, he got corn tortillas for me. One of our guests didn't eat meat and he cheerfully handled that as well. Our party was a success. The party planning, food and service was exceptional.
My entire kids and husband treated me for my birthday. Even though the evening was cool, they had sufficient number of outdoor heaters. Surprise! A live band was playing - an extra special treat. They even sang Happy Birthday. We came from different cities in Alameda County the travel was worth it. Suggest reservations.
The dinner selections are good, but the portions are huge. Cocktails are alright, but the special margarita is way too sweet. Skip the dessert.
