Sorry, but I have NO IDEA what this places’ secret ingredient is- EVERYTHING was 100% deliciously amazing. Every single ingredient was top notch. From the strawberries in the chia pudding to the bacon/rice in the bowl I got. I asked for my egg over medium and it was cooked to complete perfection. The spinach was abundant and not wilted at all. The staff was so sweet and nice, the atmosphere was cute and fun. I could go on and on, I will definitely be back!UPDATE: Went back a couple days ago and it was a completely different staff, however they were just as nice, sweet, and welcoming. The food was just as good (we loved it so much we ordered the same thing) and we both agreed that this place is probably one of the best breakfasts we have ever had eating out.
Very long wait on a Friday morning, but worth it! Never had a better dirty chai latte <3 Healthy, delicious options as I got the PB&J honey granola dish. And their avocado toast is like no other, just perfect. Definitely going back.
Great place with great people always trying to do the best for you!People go there and spends great time talking with friends.The food is delicious and healthy!Don’t forget to ask for the tea of course because they have a wide variety, I asked for help and they brought me something very cool!If you are vegan they have an option for you.I’m often in the US and here I had a different option for breakfast instead to have the traditional American breakfast and black coffee and it was perfect for us!!French toast was very tasty, eat it!
Loved our beverages; Matcha tea and Kambucha RefresherOur meals were so delicious, I know it's a little pricey and the portions are smaller, but the quality was worth it! I love the eclectic feel and ambiance this cute restaurant brings to Lancaster (so needed!)
If you want to go to a tea room that isn't snooty & welcomes you by name & makes you feel at home, come here. The milk tea drinks are cozy & delicious . The BLT is scrumptious &, crunchy & flavorful with tea infused mayo! You can even buy some of the colorful excellent art that adorns the walls.I love you guys so much. You have ZERO attitude & are very sweet. That's the best reason I can think of to always come here for my tea.

Absolutely the BEST!I have come to MTR for a few years and no other place has compared. Just the environment is worth every penny. The atmosphere and love put into this food just fills me with peace and relaxation. When ever I feel worn down I come here and somehow I leave refreshed and healed! Delicious breakfast/brunch place with a great customer service. Food tasted fresh and had a hint of innovation which made it even better. The french toast is a must get for a sweet palate. Their drinks are really good, especially the matcha tea. The pina colada drink was okay, not recommended. Everything else is great. Definitely would come here again.
I absolutely love the modern tea. The main reason is because they offer vegan options. The majority of restaurants up here in the AV only cater to meat eaters. And it’s tiring and sad. We have so many people who live up here who are vegan or plant based.My favorite meals from the Modern tea room are the vegan French toast with the blueberry topping, the vegan breakfast burrito with added jackfruit, and the jackfruit burrito (at lunchtime). The food is fresh and there in minimal to no processing. You can taste all of the ingredients. Nothing is masked. I just discovered that they have a dope lunch menu.On top of the fresh food, the service is consistently friendly. CONSISTENTLY. I notice the staff dresses very relaxed and I love it. You just feel really comfortable being there. No negative vibes or anything.
This place is consistently good. Their wide variety of beverages makes every visit a new experience. This is a place that one can visit multiple times a week without regret. Thank you, everyone at The Modern Tea Room.
