One of my favorite places to go on Tuesdays to just kick back, enjoy some tacos, watch the sunset almost as though it’s a slice of Cabo. The people who work at the Lancaster Rubio’s are dedicated, friendly, and committed to making sure all customers have a great experience. I cannot recommend this location more, it’s the best! The Palmdale location, while closer, suffers from more food quality inconsistency and doesn’t feel quite as welcoming. I absolutely adore the Lancaster location though. If I had any nitpick, it would be that sometimes the plates are a little bit cramped for the entrées. Especially when I get the leafy greens with dressing, sometimes that dressing soaks into the rest of the entrée. I would recommend asking ahead of time for a second plate. Otherwise, the restrooms are kept as well as can be for this region of the city. Make sure to use the app when visiting because Rubio’s happily offers the most consistent and rewarding features for regular visitors. One of my regular places and I always love going!
We purchased family taco kit for first time delivery. Food was cold. No salsa. And it only fed barely 3 people. Not sure if it was close to closing time and we just got what they had. But it sure felt like it. We usually go for fish tacos and pick up. If I could give zero stars I would. When you spend $ 40 these days for a meal for 3 I feel thequality should be better.
I love Rubio's! I do miss the pre covid salsa bar, I think it even tastes a little different. During my most recent visit, they called .y name and before I made it to the counter, someone made off with my bag. They had to remake my order. Other than that it's always a good experience
It was ok. Skimping on ingredients. I saw one of the workers take money and use the same gloves to cook a burrito. That is not sanitary. If you handle money you should not be cooking food with the same gloves. This is how people are getting sick. People are not consciously cooking.

Nothing beats the $7.99 shrimp trio on TacoTuesdays at Rubio’s. It is a lot of food very reasonably priced! They just started offering this deal all day long (instead of just dinner) and it is highly recommended. The shrimp is always cooked perfectly. The staff here is great. Join their rewards program, it’s free and they throw you some deals and discounts from time to time.
I placed an ubereats order to surprise my husband and I called this store to ask if they’d write something cute on the outside of the bag, because I’m surprising my husband , and the manager working (03/12/2022 @ 11:31am) said “I can’t do that, it’s not in my job description.” Uhm.. it’s just an act of kindness. Doing something kind for another person. I’ve had it done plenty of time. I’m unsure what his issue was, but it costed him $0 to do a kind gesture for a stranger. Make a stranger’s day.
Fast food and great service! Line went pretty quick, friendly staff. I couldn't ask for more from Rubio's.
I recently moved out of California and now live on the east coast. The last meal I ate in California before hitting the road was at Rubio's. As always, it was excellent. If you're looking for some good fish tacos or burritos, give Rubio's a try. They have other proteins, too, but I think their fish is what sets them apart from most other taco joints. Their classic fried fish taco is great, but so are the variety of specialty grilled fish tacos. As for burritos, my favorite is their grilled salmon burrito. Delicious!
Taco Tuesdays are the best! They are very helpful and kind. They also offer catering to go which is very helpful if you have 6 or more.
