We have never been to a Marie Callender’s I had frozen Marie meals. What I got was delicious hot and crispy crust chicken ? pot ?. Delicious. The service was bellow standard ??????
Let's just say our salad was DAMN! Our salad was so huge and delicious we could have shared one. My sister and I each ordered the Southwest Avocado Salad with Shrimp. It had just enough kick (spice), we loved it. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived, so we were a little surprised at how many times we had to get the waitresses attention. For dessert we had the Double Cream Blueberry Pie, it was good. The blueberry and cream was delicious, the crust didn't impress us.
I went for a banana cream pie..When I went to my car, ??My alarm would not open my car....After trying for a few minutes I went back inside to ask the cashier in the bakery if I can leave the pies there while I Uber home for my spare alarm fob...She being Very kind , caring and friendly, After telling her my story she was more than willing to hold the pies for me till I returned...After I returned & got my pie from her, she continued to have excellent customer service..Thank you Marie Calendars!!!Then sadly when I got to where I was going....I dropped the pie?
This place "normally" has good service and food. Today, they dropped the ball big time. I wouldn't typically give a mediocre or bad review off of a singular experience. But it was clear that the whole process failed. From waiting 15 plus minutes to be seated in a less than half full restaurant, to being placed at a table not suitable for our party, to receiving cold food or no food items at all, to the manager that didn't seem to care, our experience was awful. The manager failed to identify herself or take proactive steps to correct things. She simply sat in an isolated back corner of the establishment disconnected from the operation of the business. Her only solution was to not charge us. We didn't complain to receive anything free. We complained because we loved the place and hated to see it fall off so severely.Hopefully others will have a better experience.
Per my female guests the bathrooms were not up to par as they declined to use.The food was mediocre. Eggs Benedict was overcooked and potatoes undercooked. Coffee was weak. Waitress and service was excellent. However, cook needs retraining as cooking was pathetic.Pastries, bagels, pancakes excellent. One menu for Easter and this cook couldn't get it right. This Marie Callender's is so over rated and inconsistent.Their bakery is always spot on but their kitchen needs a real chef.
THE PIES ARE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. MY FAVORITE IS THE DOUBLE CREAM BLUEBERRY PIE..OMG AMAZING. Made my 5yr old GRANDDAUGHTER so HAPPY on her BIRTHDAY..THANK YOU MARIE CALLENDER'S. ❤???
Great customer service and amazing food! I also love the building. This is a really great Marie Callender’s location. The music was nice and low, just the right style and volume to enjoy a good meal. ☺️
The food was great, but the service was bad. They got us seated pretty quickly because there was hardly any customers, but then left us sitting for 20-25 mins before finally coming back to take our drink order. We ordered our meals and that took forever to come out and when it did one of the people in our group got told they never ordered anything. When the 6 other people in our group heard him order. Then they finally come back with his food in hand trying to blame it on the fact that he ordered something completely different than the rest of us so they didn't think it belonged too our table.
Upon arrival, a staff member stated I will be seated shortly. I waited for 15 min. Another couple walked in and waited an additional 5 minutes and became frustrated. The asked for someone to service us, and names were put on the list. Once seated, I waited for someone to service us. Finally a gentleman approached us and asked if we wanted something to drink. From there, we waited longer for someone to return. The gentleman returned again and took our order. We received our food but no one serviced us afterwards. I repeatedly observed another waitress serving her tables and making several trips, yet no one came to our table. Finally, a female waitress came by and asked if we needed anything. I asked for more salad dressing and a change in the meal order as the grilled cheese my daughter ordered had process cheese. After waiting an additional 18 minutes, I became frustrated. The waitress comes back and says, “ I forgot your dressing.” I informed the waitress the wait was too long and I want everything to go. I picked out the pies we wanted. It took 16 minutes and she did not take my credit card to pay for my meal. Therefore, I waited again. Once I returned home, I received the Wrong damn pie?!!!
My friend and I were seated after waiting ~5 min. One gentleman and 3 couples were seated after us. All of them have drink orders and food orders prior to us. Almost 20 minutes to give our drink order (1 hot tea, 1 cup of water) another 10 minutes before food order and then 30 minutes for a piece of pie (warmed up please,_- it wa delivered cold) a cup of soup, a side salad) 20 minutes after we had to ask for more water..... yep won't be returning
