Excellent sit down Mexican restaurant with various lunch specials. Wife ordered the 2 item combo, she chose 2 crunchy beef tacos, which were perfectly crispy and loaded with beef. I ordered the Carnitas Taco plate. These Carintas were seasoned well, juicy and overflowing the tortillas. So good! I topped it off with some mild salsa and guacamole that came with the dish. Probably some of the best Carnitas I have had in a restaurant in years.
Ordered the lunch special shredded beef burrito but the wet sauce was bland and the burrito was filled with runny beans and very little meat
Food was FANTASTIC! Covid or inflation didn't seem to affect prices. Great hardworking crew at this location. Again, food was excellent!
It took my wife and I 2yrs to finally dine here and I must say I was not disappointed, service was really good...
This place was okay I had the Carnitas plate and it was a decent the only thing is their version of Pico de Gallo was horrible. It looked more like it wanted to he a salad. It was dried up big chunks of tomatoes and onions. The burrito was a better plate as well as the chicken quesadillas.
They are always fast and polite and it's a very home like environment unlike big businesses. The food is always great.
Good prices. Right now prices seem to be going up everywhere but my lady and I walked out under 40 bucks. I ordered two tacos and they were amazing. Not stingy on the cheese. Best tacos I had in a long time!
Really Good... After receiving "skimpy" portions at another Mexican restaurant(s), I decided to try this El Toreo's. Their Albondigas soup is 2nd to "none".... I mean that !! I know people that travel to Mexico quite a bit and they say El Toreo's albondigas is "the BEST". Had old friends come from out of state...this place did not disappoint..Had a Wonderful Time. The Best in A.V. .....The Food, The Service 10+
Just ordered some food for pick up and was told to come in 10 minutes. Show up and the doors locked with a sign stating they close at 2:00. I placed my order at 1:35 and was there @1:45 . Wasted gas to get there and that’s what you do? Worst part is I go there all the time so I know exactly who I took my order.
The chips and salsa are excellent, which led to awesome enchiladas for my wife and chicken tacos for me. Everything, down to the service was spot on.We'll done!
