Went here for the first time and I can’t emphasize enough…, if you are looking for excellent food and exceptional customer service, you will not be disappointed. For the record, my waiter’s name was Bernie…yet, anyone he is working with will be amazing! I say this because he is accommodating and funny. The type of personality that makes YOU funny. The food was equally PERFECT! And while I did not pay the tab…EVERYONE was STUFFED and entertained! Thanks a million Don Gus and more importantly the entire staff on 7/9/2022
A Lancaster landmark, formerly Domingo's, this wonderful Mexican restaurant is now named Don Gus - but the food is just as fabulous and the margaritas are just as big and great! The staff is still just as friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner - maybe you see an astronaut or two just hanging out and enjoying their great food and beverages.
? definitely will not waste any more money hers!!! The food was just awful!!! Salsa was bitter and nasty, chips were stale, couldn’t even finish eating out getting half in our systems - it was absolutely terrible. I suppose if you drink alcoholic beverages here you can’t tell how bad the food is ??♀️.
Taco Tuesdays doesn't get any better than this. Authentic Mexican food at its finest. No watered-down mixed drinks here at the place. Word of caution... don't under estimate the large margaritas call for an Uber to take you home lol.
Everyone liked the food and drinks, I got steak picado, but my steak was not cut, it was whole. I ordered a cantarito and it didn't taste like it, but it was ok. I do want to give it another try, just going to order something different than what I got. Menus cards do need to be updated, please, I couldn't even read them. They are brown and the letters are brown too.
Nice spot! Good food and good drinks plus the servers were very professional. Atmosphere was very chilled. Enjoyed our meal!
The food is delicious and the service is the best. Don Gus Is the best bartender… you should try the cantarintos. We’ve tried all their seafood dishes and the are the best. ?????
Great service and reasonable prices. They were able to accommodate our party of 18 easily and still provided amazing service. The Taco Tuesday special is unbeatable at .99 per taco. They are the little street tacos but with their delicious green and red salsa they really hit the spot. Crispy chicharon tacos are definitely a must try. Drinks were amazing, my wife had a crunchy taco and enchilada plate that she really enjoyed. We'll be back again to try more from their menu.Update... we had the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos and they were amazing too. Quick service. Amazing drinks. We have officially made this our once a month family spot.
This is my all time fave place 2 go 4 a Margie and they make the best bean dip in the world and Bernie is the best waiter in the universe he will make u laugh and enjoy your evening out and when u return again and c his Brite smile when u walk in the place so u always want 2 go where people know your name and they r really glad u came so be polite and to them right cause they r really worth it and request Bernie 4 your waiter I promise u will not regret it.Sincerely Andrea.....
I love this place. The staff are super friendly. Very welcoming. They're open late. Drinks are tasty. It's a normal stop now whenever going to streets of willow springs.
