Ribs where to dark been sitting way to long and I ordered a family meal but minimal sides where available so I took sides I didn’t want.. I should have saved the $80 and went back another day because now I’m doubting ever going back
I had an issue with their customer service a few years ago, so I figure enough time has passed maybe they got some better training. NOPE! I order online & go pick it up & they don’t honor the online prices. It’s double when you purchase inside. Yet nobody thought to call & tell me. I decide to order inside but they can’t refund me because it was online. Well I’m not paying for 2 meals so I left. A few days go by & still no refund. I call & they say I need to wait for the higher ups to refund me. Ok well who would that be? She didn’t know. So basically their customer service stinks & I still haven’t gotten a refund. It’s been 2 months!
Charged us $40 for a cheeseburger, a brisket sandwich, and drinks. Burger was burnt. Buddy got wings and was charged $15 for 9 tiny wings. Go to the Habit across the street. The only good thing here was the brisket. Waaaay overpriced, disorganized staff. Fries were floppy and not crispy. The girl seemed super capable but overworked. Also it took 30+ min to get the food out.
I ordered online today the brisket sandwich and big yellow cup on online to pick up at 12:45pm. Get there and of coarse the female employee is so rude as always (should have got her name) i tell her i have a pick up order and she proceeds to tell me they don't have that deal at this location and so i asked her ok well what is going to happen she says well you can get your onion pedals you order but not the sandwich and drink or we can refund you the money so i said refund me the money and she says it will go back on my card. I will never go here again!!! My time is valuable wasted my lunch time for this.
Palmdale location went under, this location is next. Dickey's Lancaster is falling into a sad state of disrepair from their tables to their physical signage to their digital signage. Such disrepair makes you question their equipment; our food was COLD and only mediocre.This location is an extreme displeasure to deliver Uber Eats from and it's ghost-kitchens are worse, there is a reason you will pay premium ??? for Dickey's delivery, as a wait-time is a 100% guarantee.All staff are inexperienced and easily overwhelmed, their turnover rate of employees is atrocious.The menu is far, far, too large forcing staff to always stock the line with ingredients that will only be wasted or not have them at all. Staff cannot possibly be properly trained on all items available at all times of day! They are often out of essential items, when I came in they had maybe a days worth of firewood/pellets (their most essential item!).
Food is overpriced! $27 for the smallest piece of chicken? Ridiculous but what’s worse is the management which is horrible. Completely turned me off from the restaurant. Unwarranted attitude (from the manager working the register) with simple questions like “Do you guys have chicken wings?” They either need to train their employees better or get some new people.
UPDATE: After my initial review. I decided Friday 3/25/22 to give Dickey's BBQ another try. I ordered a 3 meat plate. The sides are packaged individually. This pic is how the meat came. I wish I could tell you which is which but your guess would be as good as mine. Im done never again!!If you like waiting 45 mins for your to go order. Then this is the place for you!!
First time here...tried the 3 meat plate pulled pork, beef ribs. Trip tip side of Tammy's mac n cheese, Ceasars salad, brisket chili mac n cheese and some cornbread with onion Tangiers yummo everything was delicious but get here early so good they run out of some of there items.
The food is delicious but the customer service is horrible.The cashiers that work there NEED a CUSTOMER SERVICE CLASSI will not be going back there.The TRUTHUpdate about Dickey's.I went there today and got my dinner and me some catfish.The CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY WAS BEAUTIFUL FROM THE TIME I ENTER AND UNTIL MY ORDER WAS READY.MY FIRST REVIEW I GAVE THEM 3 CAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY I GIVE DICKEYS A BIG 10+ AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. BBQ WAS FOR MY G BABIESTHE CATFISH IS THE BEST IN THE AVTHANK YOU FOR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY
I order 2 fried pickle and I saw the lady over charge my card and took all my funds out and I ask them to refund back and not satisfied with the service but at least they processed the refund and give me food free. I was excepting this restaurant a good service but noticed the lady over charged and saw the guy disconnected the card reader machine and reconnect it and then the lady enter the correct fund and my card declined since the first charged mess up which she was charging me about $49 and some changed over a 2 fried pickle but I did ask the lady to tell me the total for 2 fried pickle and it was $9. And some changes but that 2nd attempt payment not go through just because she over charged and disconnected the machine messed up but but at least got the fried pickle for free. I am not going to recommend this restaurant!
