great service the front of house was on the money. got the contry fried steak and there was little to no flavor. no salt no pepper. the hash browns were the same. so besides the self seasoning it was cool.
Large portions for a fair price. Can't beat the quality or quantity of their food. Always more than enough to take home and make a second meal out of it. I've had this many times. Their Omelet's are ginormous! Even a half order is more than enough for 1 person. Excellent biscuits and gravy, and their perfectly cooked prime rib is hard to beat.

Sonia was great. The meals were delicious, both the day we were there and for lunch with the leftovers. The Stella Rosa $1 draft was yuck. It's fun and the menu is almost an encyclopedia. Seldom does a legend live up to the hype. But this one does. We'll be back again for sure.
great food, great BIG portions, great staff they all work hard , everyone friendly, always service with a smile, just good O'l fashion everything. A Lancaster tradition for many decades. I do miss the old original "Train" diner that was at the intersection of Sierra Hwy & Ave J. So glad I got to eat there before The City of Lancaster made them move. Such a mistake, that was a Historic Site.
Classic diner with old school vibe. Food is decent, but the portion is huge. Service could be better. Plenty of parking in the lot outside. Military discount only applies to the actual service member or vet, not the whole party.

First time ive ever heard of this place and if i knew then what i know now i would've ordered the breakfast omelet. Cause not only was it the biggest ive ever seen but it looked sooo good. I got the steak it was also good. And the waitress was awesome she made sure you had what you needed to make your visit a good one
