This was the pole position patty melt. Supposed to have caramelized onions. Other than meat and cheese, that's all that's on this. So it's important to get the onions right. These were sautéed onions at best. And very few I might add. The first bite was good because of the buttery toasted sour dough along with the beef patty. But after the initial bite, it was just a run of the mill burger on bread. Sub par. Additive Additionally, the fries were pretty mediocre. Very soft and baked potato like. Not something I like about fries. Otherwise, service was great. I would like to try a few other things on the menu but wouldn't recommend this patty melt.
Update* in the past coaches was 5 stars, not anymore. The servers are rude, slow, poorly trained, i don't think any of the new ones have ever served before. My softball team has always gone here after our game and we'll never back after our 3rd horrible experience in the past month. Being new is fine but being told off by your server is another, i have never had a server tell me off before for asking for a side of something. Apparently i was a bother, we'll never go back again.
this place has gone down hill in the past few months (it's 4/22) . the new servers are so rude, have no menu knowledge and are so slow. i cannot belive the way i was spoken to. she couldn't answer basic food questions and had no patience for a large team order. if you go there after softball, stop. they just can't handle the business.
Coach's bar grill in Lancaster is always good. Wings are all fire. I keep coming me back for more.
Always loved this spot. Haven't been in a while but came today and wings are not the same. They were gross and under cooked. 3 out of 4 orders had to get sent back to get redone. Waitress was horrible and rude. She forgot about us a few times. Had to ask for our drinks three times. She was rude when we sent back our under cooked wings,and told us its going to be 20 minutes if we want new ones. Like we wanted the under cooked ones lol. Even when the good wings came, food is just not the same. Not going back.
The food is ok. Service just depends on time of day. Sometimes it's good Sometimes the wait is long for your food.It's extremely loud with everyone talking over the TVs and each other.
Coach's is an absolute must for me and the boys. We can't start our Saturday night without going to Coach's first for our wings and drinks. Jazmin is an incredible server and always takes the best care of us. If you ever ask me where I'll be on a Saturday night it's Coach's ?
It's a pretty solid sports bar. They actually have a really large selection of beers. The only food I've had was their wings which weren't the best I've ever had, but the sauces were really unique and I would definitely order them again. All of the TV's make it a really nice place to watch NFL games during football season.
Wings are trash and taste like fish. But staff is nice and beer is good ?
