This place is a scam. Digital pay card that rips you off almost everytime you swipe it. Drying is only .40¢ but it will charge you a few times before it works so it's more like $1.60 for 12 minutes. Got charged a couple times before it let me in the restroom. Nothing works right and no one is there to refund you. Took about $10 to get one load done. They have these tiny little washers that say 2 loads but it's not even enough for 1 full load. $3 for half a load of laundry. This place is a rip-off.
Guess what the fries where not hot and crunchy. The Double stack with bacon was cold as ice and the cheese didn't melt...So when they say their Fries are better than McDonald's it's not true for me..I will say the staff was nice so giving Wendy's two stars
Fries are nothing to brag about. 2× better than McDonald's, not. Fries are fries. The chile is not that good either. Although the service is excellent.
Food was cooked to perfection also took advantage of the good deals they have.
Make sure they give you your card right away because for some reason i only use my card here and the same day someone was using it for uber which i dont even use and i know it was the person that took my card because they took forever to give me my card back.
This review comes after the 3 maybe 4th time coming to this location. Every time they have messed up the same order and I've had to return. Im so confused as to why ordering 2 Jr hamburgers with ketchup and pickles only is so difficult but like I said, this review comes as im sitting in the parking lot frustrated that I've had to return yet again. Ill take the blame for only checking one hamburger before I drove off only to hear my daughter say "mom, there's mustard on this one." Maybe its time to drive to a further location.. ?♀️
The only other Wendy's since Long Beach off of Carson st.. Here in Lakewood, I enjoy dining in here. Food is tasty, fresh and hot. I love the baked potatoes and a classic cheeseburger. I've been dining here since 1993. The customer service is great it has never changed. Dining here in this family atmosphere setting, I enjoy my food as I watch the cars and people go by. I enjoy a moment of peace from the busy world and get to taste my food. I feel at home here I feel safe. Great parking and restroom facility. Thank you Wendy's for your continuous tasty old fashion family food. Every bite is delicious!
Tried to order from this location. Went to the drive thru and didn’t get a hello or welcome. I think I heard the guy say Wendy’s. I said hi and started to order. When it came to size of fries and drink, the “Biggie” is gone (didn’t know that). I haven’t gone in a while, but the guy said, “Don’t know what you mean,” but with an attitude like I came at him sideways. So I asked if he was okay because he was rude throughout. At that point, I was done and cancelled the order and went somewhere else! But best to stay away from this Wendy’s at Lakewood and South! Wendy’s Corporate, if you see this, you need to fix your store before you lose more customers!
I placed a large order in the drive thru. I get to the window and am handed 4 different beverages all the same size. Not a single mark or button is pushed on the lid to differ. I ask which is wish and am told "I don't know I'm just a cashier". I then get all the bags handed to me and it seems like they got it all. I pull over to double check and aside from the drink an entire meal (also the most expensive meal I ordered) is completely missing. I walk in and try to explain to the person working at the counter that one of th combo meals is missing and his response is " so what's your complaint? Is there something wrong with the food" I try to explain that I didn't receive it and he is still trying to find out what is wrong with that. Finally he gets me a manager. The manager is matter of fact shows now empathy for what I experienced or that I had to physically walk in while the rest of my large order is in my car getting cold. Luckily they put my meal together fairly quickly.
