Food was pretty good. Service was lousy. Courteous but lackadaisical. It was Valentine's Day and we were expecting to wait - we'd just walked out of Black Angus next door after waiting over 30 minutes with no end in sight (and we had a reservation!) - but Super Mex wasn't crowded. Our server and the other one we saw were both just rather casually going about their jobs (maybe 6 tables occupied between the two of them). And we had to ask for things like setups and straws.
A terrible place to pick up mobile orders, they don't greet you when you arrive, they make you wait way too long and if you ask, they are very rude, for the past 5 visit it's the same situation. I wouldn't go or take my family to eat here, workers don't make you feel welcome, it should be the area, I see them being very nice with white customers that says it all. I'd go to a food truck 1000 % better. You're welcome.
The Restaurant itself has good service at least that was the first thought while the food is good and the prices are fairly decent. My grandmother had her leftovers this afternoon and her Chicken Chimichanga had a very sharp bone inside and she nearly cut the roof of her mouth with it (Photo attached). We've only had this place twice while in the area to get for takeout we did not expect to fine a very sharp bone in a Chicken Chimichanga.
The food is fantastic, no complaining on chips n salsa, burrito, tacos and enchilada. my only one star off and beef with this place is the fact that I had to wait 45 minutes when I came in to order takeout. meanwhile we were watching half the staff laughing n joking in the kitchen while patiently waiting for my takeout in wait area and was told fries were the hold up? Come on.Even while I waited I saw those with phone orders wait at least 15- 20 minutes for their order so I'm not sure what's going on here but most of us want to be out of their way and home. so less chatter n get us out faster please, I like the food here but I guess calling way ahead will be the best path for takeout.
Ordered enchiladas and tamales with beans and rice. My plate was microwaved. As a result, my enchilada tortilla was dry and hard. So was the tamale. The red sauce tasted like it came from a can. The only tasty thing about my meal was the beer they had on tap.Other than that, our server was nice and we were seated quickly.
Hot food came quickly. Chips and salsa where included. Yum. Portions were a good size. Service was friendly. Server was busy as she had one whole side to accommodate. She did a good job. I have no complaints. Lunch was an enjoyable experience. I would definitely go back.
I met up with friends at this location for dinner. We were seated promptly and order was taken for drinks. We then ordered our food and that was brought to us promptly as well. Food was hot and tasted good.
The food is good enough, the tacos are delicious, but the rice is the best!! The service is very friendly and helpful, also very kind too, they do speak English and Español, which is very useful to Spanish people who visited this restaurant! I highly recommend it for Mexican people, and anyone willing to check it out!
Courteous service at a casual place...we tried the Caesar salad and a combination plate with taco, enchilada and Chile relleno. My friend's salad was very generous portions of lettuce and chicken. My Chile relleno had a different coating (mostly a scrambled egg) from what I've had before, and the cheese used was somewhat sharp. Price for combination plate seemed a little high, but this seems to be the case many places right now.
Im use to neing crowded on some of the days. But it been a year since I sat down to eat. Server very sweet and on task to make sure everyone has everything. The straw is different, we thought it was dirty but it made with fiber so don't be scared. It made by recycling. I don't like the paper straws anyway. Food is still awesome, best part left overs. ?
