Restaurant was virtually empty at 9:30 am.. We were greeted and asked to wait while a table was readied. It took awhile. A second staff greeted us and repeated the questions the first staff asked. The original staff finally returned and seated us. Service was even slower. Our server was attentive but food service didn't improve. Food was simple but satisfying. There were still many available tables when we left at 11:30 am.
We had a reception after my mother's burial on April 22, 2022. We a had gone a week before and spoke to manager. We we're excepting around 65 -70 people. We had picked out a menu, and were assured that everything would be ready. To our surprise nothing was ready they still had to set the tables, they didn't have enough servers our guest's got their food late. Some of the food choices on menu had been crossed out. Dessert was passed out by us, we had to keep reminding them that certain tables had not been served. I would never recommend Mimi’s to anyone I know. This established has gone downhill. It used to be considered one of the fine restaurants.
My women's department came to Mimi's Cafe for our Women's day Sunday brunch after church on 5/15/2022. The service here was top notch. Thanks to the Manager Julio he worked we me to set up for our lunch. He was awesome. If you have a large party please think about using this Restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!!! We loved everything!!!! 5 stars all the way!!!
Food is good, and staff is friendly. When it comes to cleanliness this restaurant does not score well. The bathrooms are a mess and filthy. There are flies flying inside - this could be a major problem with quality of food coming out of the kitchen. Furniture is not in its best condition. Would not stop by this location again, but that doesn't mean all Mimi's Cafe are in the same condition. They have good mimosas- not too bitter, not too sweet.
We arrived at Mimi Cafe today and the service was completely slow and finally the waiter came and we order just water and I noticed he took another order from another table at the same time. That was no problem but I noticed he immediately served the other table water and we were still waiting for our water. We got up and left. Very disappointed in the service!!!
We met up with Cousin Suzie, first time since she retired in December. She chose her usual Caesar's salad with extra grated Parmesan cheese, my husband chose the egg white omelette with only spinach and I chose the Egg White Veggie Omelette. The food was good, the service efficient, friendly and courteous.
Always great, basic American food. I always enjoy their tomato bisque soup and their quiches. I ordered the shrimp penne pasta in a tomato cream sauce. It was good. Can’t go wrong with their burgers.Can’t forget their muffins!!! I love their carrot muffins!!!! They are to die for!!!Customer service was great. Loved our waiter. Too bad I didn’t catch his name.
Their Cinnamon roll French toast is sooooo good! Their Crème brûlée and lemon cake was so good! The lemon cake was pretty small tho for about $8 but it was good. Their I onion soup was good too real cheesy.
Cozy, quaint ambiance, music doesn’t match ambiance (pop music station), French bistro motif. Efficient server
6.99 + Tx is ludicrous for 2 eggs. LUDICROUS!On top of that I had to find the waiter and ask for my bill.Definitely not one to complain however for these prices the service needs to be A+.
