The chicken sandwich is really big and delicious! And especially fried sweet potatoes are my favorite. The servers and the boss are very kind and nice. I've been to other branches, but the Lakewood..here is the best!!!
Legend hot chicken gotta be the most MID chicken these lips have ever been put on, an arm and a leg for tam’s fries & Tyson chicken ina bun, I could make a better sandwich at home blindfolded the best thing there was the Powerade.. had me contemplating everything on my drive back, drive to Cluck & Blaze better it’s only five minutes further down. One star is being generous.
Really bad customer service. Order took almost an hour. Chicken was not crispy and juicy as usual. This time it was more like beer battered and really dry. Rice chicken broth was horrible ? taste was very awful.
This place could have been great to me if my food was at least warm. Waited 20 minutes as instructed. Received food to go. However, I felt my food didn't seem very hot for it to have been made to order. Got home. Cris-cut fries were hard and cold. Chicken sandwich seemed room temperature. Got extra hot spice and it was a mouthwatering burn to my liking. Could have been better if at least warm. Willing to try again but not anytime soon.

Freshly made chicken. Wanted to try without any spicy to see how fresh the chicken was. I was impressed it’s freshly made. I’ve even tried two different locations, Hacienda Heights - still building their location. Hawaiian Gardens - worn out in a good way (like patrons come and go) one other thing both locations are really friendly. Watch out KFC, Popeyes, Churches, Pioneer, Buffalo, there is a new contender! It might be a little over priced but it’s FRESHLY made.
I was not always a fan of hot chicken sandwich person but this hot chicken sandwich totally changed my taste. Now I’m a big fan of this hot chicken sandwich along with nachos with house special cheese sauce., This place absolutely blew my mind!!!!
It was really good food. Then chickens looked like chickens on steroids; they were so huge. however, juicy and one order can full two people. It's well portioned for price too.

First time trying Hot Chicken and I'm not a huge fan of hot but I do like spicy and I didn't want to go full mild so we got the medium heat--there are 3 levels hotter than medium, so I figured I'd get a kick but not be in agony. I WAS WRONG!! I could barely manage to eat a tender avoiding the outer coating and my sister, though heartier than I, was also feeling the burn. It's hard to believe there are multiple franchises selling chicken 3 x hotter than what I got but obviously I'm more of a wimp than I thought.However, the bird was moist and juicy and flavorful enough that I would go again and try the mild. Cautiously.
