Just your average sushi restaurant. They ask you to sign in on a sign in sheet if you’re dining in. Seating area is quite small, so I could see longer wait times during peak hours. I’m a big wasabi fan, so to receive wasabi packets instead of fresh wasabi wasn’t nice. Sushi rice was very crunchy. Sauces for the sunrise roll and spider roll were quite delicious. Paying $40 to not get full from two rolls is enough reason for me to not return.
This place has revamped their menu within the last 2 years. The layout looks different and easier to read. This is our first time eating here since the COVID-19 shutdown. Added many dishes to their menu that I didn't see before. Sashimi is always fresh. They serve very large pieces. I love their garlic edamame too. Came here for lunch on a Sunday and it was not busy around 1pm.
great sushi and service.
Everything was quite delicious here and it's consistently tasty. On my fourth visit, we had quite a variety of sushi and appetizers. We tried the salted plum cut roll for the first time and it was so different! It's always a pleasure to eat here.
I luv sushi is the best one I know of in Long Beach. It's really tasty. Gotta try it. Sometimes you'll have to wait a bit to be seated. I've been here 4 times now including today. Still f'n luv it and will be back!
Fresh and Flavorful sushi....Friendly staff...Brian was the best! Great place to go for happy hour!
Poke appetizer tasted good. Candy roll was way too sweet. Menu was very Americanized overall. The reason for the two stars is that this place unfortunately ended up messing with my stomach really badly.
My all time favorite sushi place. Wish they had one closer to my home I'd be there all the time!!!Service and chief's are excellent.
Doesn't look like much from the outside but once you get in, wow! Nice decor and ambiance. Food quality and flavor is great. Awesome service as well!
It was my first time here. To begin it was a full house I checked in on their tablet which said it would be a 15 - 20 min wait. I was seated at the bar, which had me a little uneasy at first beacuse i don't like to feel suffocated, but I did say first spot available. As soon as I sat down I heard an announcement that it was someone's birthday which was in expiernce on its own nothing over the top but I won't spoil it. But down to the nitty gritty the food left me feeling like I was unworthy and Chef Ben was right there always checking if I needed anything one of the best sushi places if not the best I've been to In the long beach area.
