I'm the type of person that gives multiple chances to locations.. I fully understand that people have bad days. So this was about the 4th time I've tried this place. I had a wonderful first impression. The food was reasonably priced and the portions were amazing. Then the 2nd time I went.. I went to pick up my order and left my phone at my house. She wouldnt allow me to get my food unless I proved it was my food. I told her my full name, showed her my ID and still she wouldn't let me have my food unless I showed proof. It took 30 minutes longer to get my food because of this. The 3rd time the food was noticeably smaller than usual and the prices went up at the same time. I was charged a tip fee that I never aproved of. Then this 4th time.. I got the alert that my food was ready. I was 10 minutes late to pick it up. I gave her my name and she said to wait 10 MORE minutes... The register to my right said my name and the words "Ready". She deleted it. A minute later my name popped back up and said it was ready. It wasn't.. When it finally was, she asked me to show proof that the food was mine... I couldn't even open the transaction on my phone anymore because I left the app to go do something else. She mumbled annoyingly and gave me the food.. I won't ever waste my time or money here anymore. The portion size has gotten even smaller. My pocket sized wallet is next to my food for scale. $12 for food that is the same size as my hamster. Highly disappointed. I left irritated and went to a fast food restaurant nearby. I needed something to fill the void that this place left in my heart since all I craved all day was sushi. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied.

Food is delicious. However service is not good! After that they want to charge you a mandatory 15% tip. First of all give a GOOD service to earn your 15% tip. Second show me where there is a LAW showing a tip is mandatory?

Ordered 3 rolls during a business trip from Utah. TNT, Rainbow, and burrito roll. The TNT was packed with cream cheese, had to spit out the rainbow, and couldn't take more than 1 bite of the burrito. Sad to say I get better sushi in utah. These are my favorite rolls but these were just gross.

Found the service unprofessional. My wife ordered food over the phone and went she went to pick it up she had a terrible experience. She was waiting inline to pick up her order when the cashier finished with the person in fron of her in line. The cashier then proceeded to ignore my wife and started helping the person after her in line. She felt completely disrespected and ignored. Needless to say we will not be going back to this sushi place. To the owners, you need to train your staff better in customer service.

Tasteless food - the rolls were completely tasteless. Even the spicy tuna roll was tasteless. the only item that had a taste was the wasabi but it turned my teeth green and my tongue green! so that was real either. spent 20.00 for bad food. the tuna in the tuna roll had the texture of a PASTE!! I have never been so disappointed in any meal, ever! The good reviews cant be right. Maybe other locations are ok but this one - NO. The chefs argued the entire time in from of me and other people waiting and it was loud and unnerving. Worst food experience of my life. And Im in my 60s.. I've had a lot of food.

This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants and have been coming here for years. Rolls are very well priced we typically get 3 roles and 2 miso’s for around $25. Pre-COVID it was packed and there would be a line out the door. However, I haven’t witnessed that in our new era. There is plenty of seating and they added a covered patio to extend their seating. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is always clean, and they’re food is really good.

Normally a good place for some decent reasonably priced sushi, we used to dine in frequently. However, the customer service is not the best and has steadily declined. We have elected to do pick up instead because we are not subject to tip and deal with the mediocre service. Unfortunately, we were not informed that they now charge a mandatory 10% gratuity even with take out! I have been coming here for years and with their rising prices and unethical gratuity practices we will no longer be coming to this establishment. For the mere principle that they hide the surcharge on the receipt.

The service was not that great or friendly. My 1st couple of pieces of sushi were OK but when I asked for special trimmings or condiments I was refused and they told me they did not do that. Finally, when I insisted that I wanted some sesame seed on my eel they said after checking in with 2 or 3 people that I would have to pay $1 for that. I really do not like it when you are going to a place to eat when times are hard and they should be happy to have you as a customer and they are very petty about something that should be so normal like a slice of lemon or a little pinch of sesame seeds or a pinch of green onions on my yellow tail. I have been eating sushi and visiting sushi bars all over the country, all over the world for 50 years and this type of petty attachment to extra soy sauce or extra lemon is not conducive to good customer service and I definitely will never come back here again. If you want great fresh sushi with little accommodations provided with a smile and excellent service you should travel to Tustin and visit Sake2MeSushi. You will not be disappointed. Sake2MeSushi gets 5/5*****
