Perhaps it's just this location, but I was so disappointed by my visit here. The one we used to go to when we lived in North OC was always exceptional...so, coming here we were expecting the same delicious meal. The help needed help. When we finally got our food after sitting outside wiping off the dirty table, (they were all dirty), the fries were soggy, the buns were partially burnt and the burger patties were dry and the size of a quarter. We were gonna go to In-N-Out at first and wished we had.
Today was beyond shocking! After ordering I was standing there waiting patiently for my food away from the counter and one of the employees decided she wanted to have a confrontation for no apparent reason. She wanted me to stand and wait in another area, even though other people were standing in my location as well-- they were not addressed. She then decided to yell and me and other customers decided to yell at me due to them thinking I was the one that initiated the conflict (which I didn't), when I was simply looking at my phone with my mask on completely away from people. She was a horrible representation of the establishment and should be addressed by the owner for her egregious behavior. I would love for the owner to please pull the tape and see how I was verbally assaulted within this establishment today, so they can see how a staff change could benefit the restaurant. I know everyone in the world is 'stressed out' but treating people poorly is not okay. I asked for my money back so I could leave-- I will NEVER support this local business again. I hate that so many people are deciding it is okay to be unprofessional, and low class these days because it doesn't encourage anybody to continue to head out in the community to support the economy. I didn't deserve that treatment and she was completely in the wrong. I am totally losing faith in humanity at this point. I expected more out of the population in California, but I have been hate crimed here the most, and had the most aggressive social interactions in this state verses anywhere in the country other than Missouri. So disappointing.By the way, your counters were dirty and there was no ketchup at all. There were plenty of other things she could've been doing other than seeking unwarranted conflict. Please pull the tape
I really hate to be this person, and I never am one to make reviews like this but it’s just a bit frustrating that every time I order delivery from this place they always fail to put the sauces and ranch I paid and asked for, I used to work at a Habit restaurant so I know how the experience is supposed to be, whenever a customer orders onion rings you’re supposed to give them a large ranch with the onion rings, and before handing out the order to the door dasher or pick up person you’re supposed to double check everything is inside the bag including the sauces the customer asked and paid for!! you’re supposed to point them out and double check everything is correct with the order. I know that sometimes it’s hard to keep track of all the orders but every single time i’ve ordered my sauces or ranch on the side it’s always missing from my order, very disappointed in this location.
I'm not a fast food fan but the burgers here are great. A very happy vegetarian too.
I eat at The Habit at least once a week. Their salads are amazing . Their burgers are good too, but their salads are what really make it. The charred broiled chicken is fantastic.
The Habit Burger on El Toro Road was nice enough to send us a coupon for a very good cheeseburger. Their food and service is always very good. They have always had indoor tables and booths and outdoor dining: not just because of the pandemic. Prices are reasonable.Noticed a number of people had ordered on the app.There is no parking right at the front door so it is necessary to cross one lane in the parking lot.Would have given 5 stars but noticed a bit of "horse-play" amongst some of the seven employees.I say give The Habit Burger a try.
I went to this place on Jan 10th at 4 pm. I saw the women who cook in the back spray the grill with "LA's Awesome All-purpose bottle" (looks like for cleaning). She didn't wipe it out after spraying it on the grill. I didn't ask, I just not gonna come back to this place. Plus, not so busy during this time, but I have to wait for more than 20mins.
Overrated. Average burger. Nothing to get out of your way.My first order was delivered to me and received the wrong food, ticket had my name so it wasn't the driver. I guess my expectations grew higher since then...
Dirty tables Cold fries and no mention of what was possibly a shortage of ingredients for what I ordered. I didn’t ask for rare but that is what I got. I doubt I will be back to this location. Was looking for a substitute for the Red Robin that is no longer palatable. Guess Deemers and BJs are all that remain on the list for a decent burger combo.
Great delicious burgers. By far tastier than the bigger chain burger joints.
