Rarely do I leave a 1 star review on both Yelp and Google but this place definitely deserves it. I had an issue with trying to order from this place a month ago but decided to try to give them another chance. Called in and the phone rang for about a minute without anyone picking up. No problem, they're busy.I called again 10 minutes later and someone picked up and asked me to wait on hold. After waiting on hold for a minute, the person on the other end just hung up the phone.What's wrong with this place?
Great place to grab something late at night. The only thing I don’t like is the price especially for how small the tacos are.
RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! Horrible customer service. I never do tgis type of review but the service here was really bad. Called to place an order. I was told to wait to have a phone order taken. After waiting on the phone my order was supposedly taken and they took my name down. I tried asking for a estimated time and I was hung up on. I show up to pick up my order 20 minutes later just to be told that I have to wait for my order to be taken. I explained I placed a phone order. I was told that they don't do phone orders because food can be not picked up. I asked why my order was taken and not told about this. He said "Just get in the line, you'll be helped after the customers in line." Extremely rude, unapologetic. Needless to say I left immediately.
I was there on Friday night with a group of friends. This restaurant used to be Asteca. It is now under new ownership the menu is amazing because it’s a diner it’s a little different it has breakfast all day. It also has a large choice of Mexican dishes. This is their second restaurant they have one in Huntington Beach I believe. Excellent service very caring definitely want you to be satisfied. There was four other men with me they were all Very satisfied with their food. Prices are very reasonable by today’s standards. And we definitely will be meeting there in the future.
Delicious, authentic, friendly staff. Came highly recommended during a business trip and was worth the quick walk across the street from my hotel
Are they authentic? Yes. Are they cheap? Yes? Does the food taste great? Varies. Isn't *the best* Mexican food I've had in SoCal, but it is a very competitive market so what can you do?
Placed an order over the weekend online for pick-up. Came to realize we were shorted food and some of what we did get was incorrect. Very disappointed in losing money due to vendor's errors. Do not plan to eat/order from here again.
The beans here taste like canned beans , not much flavor to them either. Chicken was good though
